2010 NBA Finals: Lakers Vs. Celtics

it seems like the lakers have been in the penalty for about 30 minutes in this game. the fouls and ft's are pretty close but the lakers just seem to fly through those first 4 fouls.

tom thibodeau better have a better defensive strategy for game 2

 

KG is playing terrible, he is really hurting the celtics.

 

If Artest is going to be a reliable three-point shooter, this series is over. No ifs, ands and buts about it. That's three true backbreakers he's had.

 

You know it's a terribly game when both teams shot more than 30 fts.

 

This game just felt like just another game...nothing exciting to it.

 

Anyone see a blowout coming?

I sure didn't.

 

The slow pace + the amount of FTs shot + no intensity really on either side pretty much made the game boring.

 

kobe trying hard to stat pad at the end there. i remember him shooting like 7 or 8 times late in a finals blowout game last year trying to make sure he got to 40 (barely made it).

 

i think there was plenty of intensity, especially early, but there were so many foul calls it had everyone on edge about what they could do in terms of being physical.

 

That's what LeBron does every game, of course you won't point that out, given the animosity you have for KB.

 

Kobe is trying hard to deny Pau Gasol the Finals MVP.

 

It was being blinded by the fouls yeah.. so I mean it wasn't there. When you keep stopping the game, what are you going to use besides the crowd to motivate yourself but even the crowd got restless with all the fouls in the 1st half.

 

I think it was for the Tacos... I might be wrong though... but 100 pts gets the crowd Tacos.

 

oh come on now, F4P doesn't have it out for Kobe. He's routinely one of the only guys cheering for the Lakers (or at the least, neutral) for them in these threads.

 

Why Perkins only played 24 minutes is beyond me.

I guess people can stop comparing Rondo to Nash, and CP3.

 

OMG best Finals I ever saw holy ****!!!

The NBA is getting old real fast. Can't we get these crusty old players off the court and get some new blood out there. Can anyone honestly say they enjoyed that game?

 

A mind-numbingly boring game on both sides. Who said that the refs would never call fouls in the finals?
