so give him an all-star 7fter and see. the celts were doubling/tripling him all series. here you have kobe have like tons of free space to go 1-on-1. outside of teh suns series, kobe has been playing 1-on-1 for the most part.
That's three of those trademark driving layups Rondo has missed tonight. He's got to be at the top of his game and dominating the PG matchup for Boston to win.
and Lebron should be ? why? stats? playoff failures? i mean just off the record. Please give me a player who was the League MPV 2 years in a row, and his team had the best record in the NBA those 2 years, and didn't reach the Finals in either year. give me another one of those guys? good luck.
shaq see 2009-10 cavs (most thought this was all Lebron needed. I thought shaq was not a factor from day 1 in cleveland.)
the lakers are maintaining control very well but it feels like they're too comfortable and if the celtics suddenly make 2 3's in a row things will get real and the lakers might get tight.
dude can't even play 25 minutes consistently. i don't know why you bring melo up in the convo. dude is nowhere close to kobe/lebron
That has to do with the length of Bynum and Gasol... he's not just missing them because he's having a bad night.. it has to do with the Lakers D.
I think all the bad officiating over the years has killed the game. The players simply aren't playing team basketball.
exactly. rondo has had 2 or 3 of his shots blocked already around the basket. if there was only gasol, it wouldn't be a problem. but gasol AND bynum presents a challenge.
Did the Suns team have the best record the second time Nash won MVP? That's as far back as I can remember.
Eh, Howard had the same kind of length or better and he made quite a few against the Magic. I still don't think he's right, physically. Simmons has mentioned Rondo stretching his back quite a bid in timeouts. If you look at that last Lakers' runout, when Artest got the long rebound... Rondo was in perfect position for that. He just wasn't at all aggressive toward the ball. He doesn't look comfortable. The Lakers' D is probably part of the reason, but I think his health and other factors are in there too.
melo is just what the young bucks say. I'm a big fan of not crowning people till its time. I don't care for MJ, Kobe, or Lebron but i do recognize greatness, and legacy. MJ and Kobe have that. Lebron does not. Leborn is in a dangerous situation. If he stays in Cleveland,... then what? who can they bring it? they don't get better?
can't agree more, officiating has play too much into the outcome of the game now and days, it's not even a fun to watch them plays today.
OK, if that's a fifth foul on one of the best players in this series, you might as well not play. Just pathetic.
