Actually, only Joe Crawford has reffed two games so far (games #1, #5). Dan Crawford and Scott Foster both did one game (#3 and #4 respectively). And LOL @goodbug being mass recognized for his frontrunning. What a p***y.
Speaking of motivation, check out this quote by Andrew "I'm only gonna play 10 min anyway" Bynum: "I think this one, when we win it, it's gonna taste much sweeter than the one last year. Just knowing that I played with the injury, [came] through and helped us get here. It's big. We have to win. We're at home. Everything. We have the momentum right now. We have to go out there and beat this team. We're guaranteed to win."" Not that I believe teams need motivation at this stage, but geez, that can't help the Lakers' cause.
I wish it was Kobe or Gasol saying that (someone whos overconfidence might actually affect the outcome of the game).
Yes, I hope both teams bring their best and we see a great game. These only come around once in a blue moon.
lol this game is so big even Google has blogs about it. I think this game 7 will help the NBA in so many ways.
i hate both teams.. only win for me if the staples center collapses and both teams get wiped out.. just kidding but I guess i'll be rooting for the lakers since i just hate Garnett, Pierce, Nate Rob, and my hatred for Kobe has died down over the years. He's just an amazing player. oh and plus I have $5 on the lakers against my coworker
Yeah, but the other team we're talking about here hung a blank championship banner in their practice facility last October. They're not exactly purist sportsmen.
It would be fairly epic if the Lakers are down by 1 with the last shot and Artest somehow tries to play hero and fails instead of passing the ball to Kobe.
I didn't miss it. Here, I'll post it: ""We've got to go get it. We went through too many ups and downs to lose like this. Out of all the teams in the league, we're the ones who struggled. We went through the bumps and bruises. We went through the 'we're old.' We went through the 'oh, they can't play, they're the fourth seed, they're going to get beat by Cleveland, they're going to get beat by Orlando.' And we're here now, despite of what everybody else thinks. So you think we're going to just let this go? No. We accept the challenge, and we want it. That's point-blank simple. We could have gave up a long time ago and look forward to next year. But no. We're here. So we're going to take it while we're here and understand that we've been through ups and downs and we deserve it more than them." I actually think it's a pretty nice speech, like the one Braveheart gave Bynum's just comes across as "It's so great that I was able to help us win this one. Go me."
