I hope the Lakers win. Can't stand Pierce proclaiming himself the best player in the NBA again...when he's clearly not

Is that the only reason? Sounds superficial.

The refs were predictably garbage but they weren't the difference tonight. The Celtics were just awful. The Lakers weren't even playing that great. Hopefully both teams play stellar games on Thursday and we can see who is really better. I feel bad for Perk, but if Sheed can play 30 min without losing it, he can more than make up the difference. BTW, WTF was Doc doing playing Sheed in the 4th? Talk about playing with fire.

Expect frontrunner goodbug to show up shortly, after taking some time off that oddly coincides with the last two games.

This might just win the series for LA.

Now, I'm not saying Perkins is the end-all, be-all for the Celtics to win, but without his presence THIS late into the series, it will be very, VERY hard for the Celts to adjust to Perkins being out.

If Perk got hurt game 1, Celts would have three more games to figure things out (assuming they got swept); now, they only have one.

LOL, you can totally tell this board is anti-Lakers. I really don't think the refs could've done much in that game. What did you guys want the refs to do, call a foul on the lakers every time down the floor? Is that what would make you guys happy?

I give the refs some credit for FINALLY giving Kobe a tech for his constant whining. I have no idea how anyone can root for that diva b!tch.

I also like that they let more stuff go (consistent with game 4-5, much better than 1-3); however the Lakers are still getting more bogus touch calls due to their constant flopping and verbal flopping. I swear Gasol & Fisher spend more time on the ground than a prostitute. And Artest is one dirty SOB. Good for him though; it makes the games a lot more interesting.

Did you forget "Kobe sucks" and "Lakers suck" from the C's crowd? Those LA fans have more class than those irish punks in Boston... I've never particularly liked Celtics fans. Throwing **** on the court.... just like j*zz fans.

Didn't Faker fans throw crap on the court during that Christmas game against the Cavs? There are crappy fans for every team (except the Clippers, since only die-hards root for them). The Lakers just have more than anyone else because they are a bunch of frontrunners.

C's will take game 7. Kobe will take an access of over 25 plus shots, while shooting under 50 percent.

I sure hope so. God, the Lakers sure are exposing Celtics greatest weakness: Rondo can't hit an open shot. It's almost like playing 4 on 5 on the offensive end for the C's. Whenever his teammates draws an opening for him, he passes up the open shot and end up with someone else taking a contested outside shot.

I hope Artest's "break out" this game is a blessing in disguise. Chuck away in game 7, Ron! Don't let Kobe get in your way.

That would be awesome. Sasha (aka Luis Scola if Luis Scola were a woman) too.

Rajon Rondo - the only elite player you don't need to guard.

It's pretty sad how they just dare him to shoot. A guard can't not have a jumpshot.

Looks like everyone expected Lakers to win game 6, even the Celts themselves. They didn't bring their game tonight
