I've never seen this amount of missed layups in a game, and we're three minutes into the third quarter. As bad as the Celtics have played, they're within a reasonable margin (10-12) if they can make uncontested layups and dunks.
Paul Pierce is so great a defender that "d" should be added to his name, maybe at the end of his last name. Paul Pierced. Hmm. Maybe not.
LA is there for the taking, but Boston is more inept than ever. Rondo lets it go off his foot and out of bounds on an easy rebound near the basket... results in a Kobe 3-point play. Pierce has a chance to cut it to 15/16... dribbles it off his foot and results in a Brown dunk. I've seen bad games, but my goodness... Boston would seriously get blown out by the Wizards with the effort they've played with tonight.
The sad thing is that if he would have done that in the Dunk Contest he would have actually not been a complete disappointment.
Wow, refs swallow the whistle on the Celts end, but whistles abound on the LA side. Anyone else think this?
So Kobe gets free throws for jumping into Glen Davis, but Pierce gets nothing for being hacked by two guys at the basket?
Im pulling for the Lakers....because i hate the celts... but yea, its pretty obvious. Game 7 will bring in big bucks.
