Robinson's insane and his antics drive me nuts, so I can understand why people don't like him. But I have mad respect for Baby.
One person's high Energy Emotional Player is another man's clowning arrogant *ss just depends on if you like the guy or not Rocket River
Damn, good point. To use your words, "high-energy, emotional players" tend to be very polarizing. Personally, I love watching guys play who display an obvious excitement and passion for the game, so that it easy for me to forget.
Nate Robinson brings a lot of good energy off of the bench but he also needs to be careful. After he scored on one play last game he basically started jawing at Jordan Farmer and sort of bumped him while getting in his face. You know how the refs are lucky for him the refs didn't overreact to it.
This is Kobe's biggest game of his career. So much about his career is riding on this game. If he loses tonight then his chances of becoming one of the top 5 best of all time is all but gone.
I'm disappointed and a little surprised a big fight hsn't broken out. The closest we got was the Paul Pierce-Artest wrestling match and Artest flopping after Rondo touched his shoulder. I thought for sure Artest would get into a fight with Wallace or Perkins.
all the fakers fans i know aren't even worried about tonite's game. for each of them it's a foregone conclusion that the series is going to 7 now
It's going to be a Celtics win (barely) or a Lakers blow out. Who's reffing this one? Crawford? Bavetta? The fix is coming....David Stern may be in attendance also. Mustn't disappoint the biggest Kobe fan.
another awesome mention: Rocket one of only six (six I think) teams to come back in the finals being down 2-3 and win the Finals.
I know this is really irrelevant but how can the Lakers trade Bynum for Bosh when he is getting surgery in the offseason?
I've grown to hate watching Gasol off the ball. He ends up on the ground, and you can always see him using his arms to get that few inches of slide going.
