Of course he's good. His ego is annoying and his teammates are the biggest whiners/floppers in in the league outside of Utah. Laker fans should really just be called Kobe fans. They couldn't name the roster if their lives depended on it.... Lamar...derrr...Kardashian...uhm...DJ Fisher....GTFO!
Nobody think he is NOT good. People just don't think he is GOAT as his fan boys try to compare him to MJ.
Personality has nothing to do with liking a player. FOr the first thing, there was once this guy in the NFL, d@mn near supersonic in the open field, had nice juke moves, very smooth, and tough-minded player. He was also a very colorful and marketable guy, since college and went on to play a several films and TV roles after his career ended. He even became a color man in the booth, and helped many charities. Yet, in this faithful month nearly 16 years ago all of his fortune changed, when he was charged with a double-execution murder. The circus ensued. History was changed. That man was not any more recognized as one of the greatest running back (possibly greatest ever), and simply as the guy who got away with murder, because of a glove and possible rampant racism and evidence tampering. The guy became so hated and disreputable that he was not even added to his former franchises ring of honor (for like 50 players). With activities like that and the abundance 1,000 yard rusher, every year, he is essentially becoming more obsolete in NFL history. Sorry to say, that people want always be remembered for they did exclusively on the field or court, like this guy; Steve McNair (the scandal behind the murder); Boys of Summer and PEs; or Tiger Woods. The Kobe haters say they actually don't think he's a good basketball player... Now, who said that on this board...? I'm going to guess next to zero, probably. But, I'm sure there alot of posters who do not agree he is the best player ever or even the most amazing. He's in a good place in history, he's just not better than say ...ummm Michael Jordan and a handful of other guys.
