it's going so well for redick right now that even out of control drives into the lane where he's looking to pass are resulting in made floaters. this comeback is nice, but when it ultimately falls short, orlando will still be living with a ton of pressure to not let the series get to 2-0.

That was almost a travel by Reddick, not sure if it was.

redick had too much momentum going away from the basket on that shot, you knew it would be short. right on, though.

Awesome reaction by Nelson to avoid the ball there.

not just rondo, but all of the celtics have been stripping/tipping the ball from behind after getting beat on drives this game. orlando is going to have to be cognizant of that and not let so many drives get ruined.

I think everyone underestimated just how good the Celtics are when KG is healthy, he may have lost a step but they are still the best defensive team in the league. Rondo is a baller, but Thibodeau is running that ****.

I think it will help the Magic's confidence in game 2 knowing that they gave em a battle at the end. Lewis won't miss his open 3pt looks as he did in game 1.... but it was a great overall game for the Celtics aside from the meltdown at the end.

I don't know that I fully agree with that - Garnett and Rondo were both in single digits, and KG in particular couldn't buy a shot. Yes, there's definitely room for the Magic to improve, but I wouldn't say the Celtics were firing on all cylinders either, and they were still able to win.

I think Rashard's going to have to put it on the floor some more and trust his mid-range game in this series. KG's length and rediscovered (relative) quickness allows him to contest threes that most power forwards can't. I think KG's health on the defensive end is the biggest gap between regular season and playoff Boston.

JVG just talked about that at the end. Saying their run there towards the end may give them(Magic) false hope and how they were in it. Said they were never really in it, never a one posession game or rather a shot to tie or win it. It was a 2 pt game in the last few seconds, but I tend to agree.

It's funny, because I believe Magic would've gotten exposed alot sooner in the West.

Redick's gonna get paid this year, haha. Probably by the Magic but still. Who would have though he'd even survive past his rookie contract two years ago? Morey certainly didn't.
