If Phoenix doesn't beat them, which looks kind of likely.

The Magic are a better team from last season, plus It is obvious things in LA LA land are boiling up, Kobe is getting more and more frustrated by the game and his cockiness attitude is coming out, which can mean one thing, he is losing his faith in his teammates.

    Go Suns, Go Magic.

i think its not from just that one play, i think the previous like 2-3 plays perkins reacted like that when he got called foul on howard. the reff probably got tired of it

    still really really stupid call

Unfortunatly yes. Last years Magic squad couldn't handle the Lakers and this years Magic squad is worst than last years.

Gasol suprisingly has shown he can shut down Howard and the addition of Carter doesn't mean squat with the addition of Artest. Artest loves playing against slow wings.

Nelson is the only player the Lakers have to worry about and I can see Kobe guarding him like he did Westbrook.

His cockiness attitude? Please care to explain. Sure looks like he's losing faith in his teammates... he's called them out to play better on the defensive end... which isn't losing faith in anyone... it's being a leader.

Just look at his demeanor at the press conferences and interviews, he is so full of it.

Kobe is acting just like he did when PHX would beat the Lakers in the playoffs several seasons back

I'm not seeing what you're seeing.... but I don't understand how he would be cocky? What can he be cocky about? The fact that he's putting up monster numbers? You can't be cocky if you're losing.

You can see it......but all that changes if they win game 5.

The problem is the Lakers have no penetrating players, and the Suns know it now.

If you turn Kobe into a passer, he is ineffective.....as a teamate.

They need to hit their 3s to win.

Replacing Rafer Alston w/ Jameer Nelson automatically makes this year's squad better...

I think it will all depend on how the calls go in the paint.
If the little ticky tack fouls are called in the paint, the zone will not be as effective.

I mean, Gasol catches the ball in the paint
turns into the players and get the foul call.
they may run out of men.

Actually even though the series last year only went 5, it was close, with two of the games going to OT. And although I'd consider Carter a downgrade to Hedo at this point (comparing their roles on the teams in the playoffs), the addition of a healthy Nelson is absolutely huge because quick PGs torch the Lakers like no other team (think: Aaron Brooks). The thought of Floppy Fisher trying to stay with Nelson is just comedy. Also, Matt Barnes is a nice upgrade defensively because they'd always have two lanky defenders to shade Kobe. And HCA is a big deal in the Finals.

However, who are we kidding. Boston ain't losing game #6. Looks like the Fakeshow is going to have to man up if they actually make the Finals.

Thread should be over. Magic or the Celtics should have won by now.

At least the finals will be better.

the perkins tech fouls were awful.

Don't want Boston having days off while LA is still battling Phoenix now do we?
