Boston is in major trouble, and not just for this game. It hurts because the Magic didn't play particularly well in Game 4, despite media narratives to the contrary. The Celtics were just borderline awful and pissed away an incredible chance to close the series. The advantage Boston had was mental... it was STILL there in Game 4, yet they played so pathetic that they lost anyway. Now? The mental edge is long gone, and Orlando is the superior team, talent wise.

The Celtics are going to have to bring their A game on Friday, or I really think this series is over.

Just as the Celtics peak at the end of the Cavs series / beginning of the Magic series, the Magic are starting to peak now.

Winning this game will give them great confidence going into GM 6, although this game was pretty much handed to them with the Celts bigs going out.

Hope Davis and Daniels are okay for GM 6.

I wonder if there would have been any difference up to this point if the Magic faced a little better competition in the previous round (or 2 rounds) and didn't have quite as extended of a layoff. It may have made no difference. We'll never know.

Unfortunately, I still think it's too little too late. The Celtics will close this out in Boston.

Seconded, but IMO, only if Perkins comes back.

Not if Stern wants Game 7.

I think so too. I cannot see the 'storied fanchise' losing a 3-0 lead.

I haven't been watching much of the game. Was watching Oswalt spin a gem.

    What happened to Perkins?

I don't buy that stuff. There may have been some corrupt refs but I don't think Stern influences results.

The longer the series drags out, advantage goes to the younger, healthier team. Unless Rondo's spasms in his leg(s) or whatever injury gets fixed, Magic in 7.

Rasheed aint no loser, that's one thing he isn't.

Funny how you call KG and Rasheed losers when they have rings.

    LEAVE RAFER ALONE! :)

Even if he sucked, he did a lot for both Orlando and Houston (good teams).

I understand why you would say this, but people said this series was over after games 1 & 2. This series doesn't follow conventional wisdom. It wouldn't surprise me at all if it went to 7 games and the Celts won. Not one bit. The more talented team, the Magic, are yoyos. Don't put anything past them.

They do have rings but I can't stand the punkish behavior of either of them.

Wow, if two Boston teams lose 3-0 leads in the same post-season those fans may go on suicide watch.
