2010 NBA Eastern Conference Finals: Magic (#2) Vs. Celtics (#4)

Anyone complaining about Garnett's reaction needs to pay particularly close attention to the :06-:07 mark here - what starts it all. Completely unprovoked, intentional and dirty from Howard. I'm not saying Garnett is a saint - certainly, he's done his share in his career - but this was an absolute punk move by Howard, pure and simple.

I hate the Celtics Magic and Lakers all evenly...the playoffs suck.

 

If you hate every good team then yeah, the playoffs will suck for you

 

I think Artest being on the Lakers means so much because of this... Artest doesn't take **** from anyone.... I don't think he's going to let someone like Garnett punk out his team.

 

KG throws hard elbows into people's rib cages. Many times it's off the ball. He takes these cheap shots to wear people down. It's only a matter of time someone retaliates.

yep, call it the utah jazz effect. boston got called for a "controversial" tech, the home crowd booed, and the refs decided the home team needed the next 10 calls in a row to make sure it was even. it's like as the road team you wish the controversial call never got made in your favor b/c the refs can't control themselves. luckily that doesn't seem to have happened after the sheed tech.

 

Yeah, the exact opposite happened. Wallace was called for the most ticky-tack of illegal screens that you'll ever see, then Pietrus blatantly shoved Pierce in the back when the ball was being thrown to him... nothing.

That's not the point... Artest will get in Garnett's face if he sees any of that bull **** happening... the same things Garnett is pulling tonight...

I'd go as far as to put my money down that Artest could knock Garnett's ass to the ground.

vince carter used to be able to play basketball, right? i'm almost sure i've seen highlights to that effect.

big baby has made more big plays in the last 3 minutes than carter has all game.


people wonder why lebron couldn't beat boston. because boston has about 8 guys out there making plays. cleveland had 1. orlando has about 3 (howard, redick, nelson).

 

Boston's missed about a dozen shots within a foot of the basket tonight, and they're still tied with 5:33 to go. If that's not a testament to how sick that defense is, I don't know what is.

 

Carter is in half human poop mode right now.
