    Highly doubtful he has Utley's power.

    They know that DeShields has a ton of physical ability, and he may realize it, he may not.

    man, eric byrnes just told a story on ESPNU...the astros drafted him in the 4th round of the berkman draft. nobody ever contacted him for weeks after he was drafted. so he took himself to cape cod. got there and made contact with somebody who told him "we spent too much money on our first rounder and aren't going to be able to sign you". so he went back to school.

    disturbing.

    That would be nice, or a Jose Reyes type player. If he becomes just a solid everyday starter at second and nothing more than yea this would be a disappointment. First round picks need to be All Stars IMO

    I've heard several complaints about the level of competition that Chris faced, his slight frame, and major technical problems with his mechanics.

    Of all the people who were projected in the top ten, him and Grandal were the two that I really am glad they didn't want.
