I admire you still following this -- I gave up. I have no clue who these guys are, and I probably won't know if they're any good for a few years.
Haha, I have no clue either. Not sure I'll last or do this til the 30th round. Astros pick in the 30th round is 903. We're currently at 233 in Round 7.
I was doing it last year as the thread starter. Editing the 1st post to show the picks, and trying to post scouting reports. It gets too time consuming.
Yeah, it is. North Carolina State JR RHP Jake Buchanan: 87-90 FB; 74-77 near plus CB; nice 76-80 SL; very good 76-79 CU; impressive showing on Cape; 6-0, 205 pounds (4.21 FIP; 8.55 K/9; 2.32 BB/9)
Evan Grills LHP 6'4 185 Grills, a tall, thin LHP with great upside, is the top Canadian prospect in the 2010 class. His delivery is low effort and his arm action is clean resulting in a high 80s fastball, plus curveball and deceptive change. He is a poised and mature young pitcher who has future front of the rotation ability.
thescorer #Astros pick Foltynewicz says he's likely to sign rather than go to UT. Story coming shortly on chron.com. -Z 6'3'' 3B Kyle Redinger - Cedar Crest HS
Excellent, I thought he would be the one with the most issues signing with the Stros but looks like the Stros did their homework on these guys.
Interesting, some people had this kid going between 4-7 rd. Looks like a nice get for team Heck/Wade.
Either that, or his agent knows the Astros MUST sign everyone...so he knows he'll get whatever he asks for.

Houston is starting to show why they didn't get big splash guys on the early rounds. They are going overslot in later rounds which is genious. If Cox fails and the Cards waste 6 million on him, I'll be laughing.
@thescorer: #Astros pick Michael Kvasnicka says he can't see a situation where he'd return to school, but says a lot of work to do. Story to come. -Z
We are too busy boycotting the Texans for not drafting DJ instead trading down for Travis Johnson. I kid.
