Thanks for doing this again! I didn't wanna make a separate thread for this but it looks like we're getting national coverage (ESPN) finally! Game is against Utah on April 7th.
Thanks! Looking at Portland's schedule quickly, they only have 6 more "easy" wins (41 wins currently). The others: @Pho, Dal, @OKC, @Den, Dal, @LAL, OKC The problems is that they have the tiebreaker over us, so they would just have to win one of those tougher games to get to 48, which is realistically what I could see us finishing with.
Is it happening? Atlanta knocks off the Spurs...they still need to win a couple of tough games to lock up that spot over us IMO. Spurs Winnable Games: (currently 41 wins) GSW (W), @NJ, @Sac, Memphis, Minnesota, @Dallas* Spurs remaining tough matchups: @Atl (L), @OKC, LAL, Cleveland, @Boston, Houston, Orlando, @LAL, @Phoenix, @Denver Rockets Winnable Games: (currently 36 wins) Memphis (W), @NY (W), @Chicago, LAC, Washington, @SA*, @Ind, @Memphis*, @Sac, New Orleans Rockets Tough matchups: Boston (L), @OKC, LAL, @Boston, Utah, @Phoenix Assuming the Spurs take care of business in the winnable games, if they go 2-7 throughout the tougher games, we would have to win 4 out of 5 of our tougher games along with ALL of our winnable games (and likewise if they go 3-6, we have to win out). Still a long shot, but we're still in it. I think we can beat everyone but the Lakers. Now we need OKC to hand the Spurs another loss. Portland is still on the radar too after their loss last night. I only count 5 "easy" wins for them remaining, which would put them at 47 total.
Appreciating your work, though I don't believe they will make it unless, Duncan or Durant gets shot in the leg and misses the rest of the season.... Here we come lottery.... let's get one good piece and contend for the next trophy
