Bah, hater I haven't heard one person that didn't like it I would think it would've gotten screenplay nom, but nothing Hell the director Marc Webb is taking over the Spiderman reboot
It was a niche market movie, so I knew it wouldn't get any larger recognition. It did the Golden Globe nomination though.
haven't seen all the movies, but Sandra Bullock was really good.. and probably seemed even better because of how far off it was from everything else I've ever seen her in. But I think she deserves to win for that
who have you asked? I havent seen it myself but I have heard plenty of "its not that good you dont need to see it" type of comments from a lot of people out here
It was just ok for me. Don't want to watch it again. And I'm not a movie snob. I can see why people who get dumped alot would love it though.....
What's with hurt locker? I thought it was just a so so movie. Generation Kill on HBO was a much better film on the similar topic. For me It's Avatar.
Great to see District 9 get a nomination. The rest were expected. I didn't think District 9 would get one though.
sandra bullock could win a razzie for her other comedy movie and an oscar for the football mom film. that would be a first.
I guessed you've never hear of Alien Nation. Since people are saying Avatar ripping off from other movies so I just letting people know where District 9 got their idea from.
I think the movie itself, although very good was a bit overrated. However CHristopher Waltz was amazing in it, he will win for sure. Honestly, if 10 movies are nominated, I think Star Trek shouldda been considered.
Inglourious Basterds is the only nomination that I've seen, and I wasn't very impressed. I didn't hate it, but I didn't love it either.
lol wut? I don't care anything about what Avatar or District 9 were influenced by. All I know is District 9 was a better movie.
Alien Nation? Have you seen it? Aliens wearing suits with jobs having rebellious preteen kids? and aliens eating cat food. I guess I don't get the connection.
