i agree but on paper and past performances tracy is stil a far better player than martin is but considering the kings financial issues getting tracy back and if he is healthy is a good scenario for them. they get a big name to help (not that they need help to sell in arco) draw people in arco and also they get a lot of cap relief if they decide to move in a different direction after next season. Man getting martin in exchange for tracy would be crazy its like we are going to sacramento to get our guys..first we got their coach, then bobby jackson their 6th man, then artest and martin? one can only dream not sure if even Morey could pull that off
I am all for Kevin Martin but I wonder if Kings would be dumb enough to do it. Are Maloofs under financial distress right now by any means?
yes they are not just from the economy but there were rumors that the maloofs lost a good amount of money in the madoff ponzi scheme. there original reports were supposedly refuted but considering the immediate salary shedding moves they did last season after madoff was arrested did raise a few eyebrows
I watched Kevin Martin's game, I don't think he'd fit well. Hes not the type of player who could make his own plays during crunch time. I would rather go for Caron Butler than KM.
I think Kevin Martin is exactly the type of players Adelman wants. Don't see him leaving Sacramento though.
I agree. If they want to do some trade in summer, cook, landry or even brooks will be higher chance than tmac...
I am Chinese and now in China,it is said that Rockets will send T-Mac,Barry,Brooks,Scola,Battier and landry to New Orleans for Chris Paul,Stojakowic,James Posey and Chandler.I don't know whether it is true. If so? Let's talk about it.

Brooks will definitely stay. He is young, has shown his potential and he's gonna get better for the next season. The question is, is he your starter or backup. I still thing we need a veteran PG, maybe even a starter (Andre Miller, Mike Bibby)
why keep t-mac when he's not expected back untill after allstar break in2010. ship t-mac and someone else for a pf/c. the rockets have enough gaurds, re-sign wafer and artest plus trade for a big man and we'll be set for another run. we should keep yao because he'll be cheaper to sign than any other big man out there leaving room for signing a closer in 2010.
But Kevin Martin for McGrady works in 2k9 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! First move I made, for cap relief------minus 13mil for us now, and they can drop Tracy's 23mil for 2010------------ plus get an upcoming star for a declining one....... So-----the real question is----------for this whole thread........... Do you think Morey use 2k9, live, espn trade, or real GM
stop with the kevin martin fantasies ok??? hes on one of the best contracts in the league and he is the cornerstone of their franchise... so they trade him for tmacs knees and legs....so they can rebuild around beno udrih??? yeah dat sounds great lets do it
Sorry-please exchange the "!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" for "sarcasm" Not an argumentative statement, actually just stating that these fantasies that work in our various simulators don't replicate the real world situation or COMMON SENSE...............i.e. please give me your young rising star with a cheap contract for my overpaid former superstar on a bum knee/shoulder/etc
