I would definitely do the 1st trade with the Suns. Don't know if they'd be willing to let go Richardson + Nash...

I wouldn't give up Lowry just to get Jefferson... I love Richard Jefferson; I'd do McGrady for Jefferson + Gadzuric. Heck... I'd try to get Michael Redd or Richard... whichever one is available.

Nets will never give up Brooks Lopez. He has potential on becoming a franchise center...

    Pacers trade sounds pretty good...

For the Knicks trade, we'd better get some draft picks...

I don't see the Hawks doing that trade...

Are you talking about Kevin Martin? The same Kevin Martin that scores 25 PPG on only 16 shots? If that's "greedy" then sign me the hell up.

Kevin Martin is far from a chucker...
he's 7th in scoring but on only 16 Field Goal Attempts ...
he's also leading the league in Free Throw Attempts...

just another trade idea, how about sending
1.t-mac/landry to suns for amare stoudamire
this would make the rockets more bigger down low, more atheletic on fast breaks and someone who could play back-up center or starting center for the smaller/faster teams that yao tends to slow us down against.
you need players like battier and artest in the playoffs because they are so much of a defensive presense and battier's team first attitude is contagiuos!

I wouldn't trade Brooks for an unproven PG. I'd trade him for a veteran PG that has a more refined game, and is a better set up man and finisher, but not a rookie.

I see him as a chucker... he gets those weak touch fouls, that's why he gets to the line so much. I don't know if he can really benefit our team though, he just doesn't seem "superstar" enough.

Grant Hill. Morey should go hard after him, he could be the team's sixth man or hell even start in front of Battier, whatever Rick feels fits.

Even at this age, man is still very solid. 12 ppg on 52% shooting, steals the ball 1.1 and gets 0.7 blocks in 29 minutes per night.

Efficient and plays hard, good fit for the Rockets.

Kevin Martin likes to drive,he doesn't get unnecessary calls and is efficient. The big concern that I have about him is his poor defense.

Insanity. I respect you but you're way off on this one.

Denver is better off without Anthony.

What are you talking about? Martin is not some ISO put the ball in my hands type of player, he's like a reggie miller/rip hamilton/ray allen clone. That's part of what makes him so efficient, he can catch and shoot with the best in the league, and that's exactly the type of player you want when you have Brooks massaging the ball, Artest clogging the offense and Yao Ming dominating inside.

"He'll be greedy, he's young...he already knows he's a star scorer in the league"

Do you know Martin personally? Do you have proof from quotes and articles that he's a selfish sonavavitch? Wade is young and knows he's a star scorer is he greedy? Lebron is young and knows he is a star scorer, is he greedy?

    Fail.

I'd rather have shaq... I hate amare's me me me me attitude.

Let shaq and Yao alternate every other game =)

getting kevin martin and possibly another big guy from the kings (mr. candace parker?) for mcgrady's contract would be huge

martin has played for adelman before and if he can stay healthy (he was injured quite a bit this year) he can be huge as he is a great scorer off the ball and can get to the line.

Resign Von Wafer, RonRon, and Birdman for backup PF/C and you're good to go without being tied down by bad contracts.

i dont think andersen is leaving denver i am not sure if he just signed a one year deal or more but if he did no way denver is going to let him walk after all he has done this season for denver. denver will match any reasonable or slightly unreasonable contract he may be offered

also watching the halftime special on him he said he wanted to return to denver since thats where he was when he went through rehab.

Understatements of the year, Yoyo? ;)

I mean, we're talking about a player that statistically can rival and/or cancel out two of the biggest thorns in our side at his position (Kobe, Roy). A player that doesn't need the ball in his hands to be effective, who despite his frame and underwhelming athleticism, STILL can beat you off the dribble and get to the line 9-10 times a game. Did I mention he's a lights out shooter? Did I mention 25 PPG on 16 shots? 26 years old?

This is too good to be true. And in the unlikely event that it's not, I pray Morey will be all over this because we're talking about literally the perfect complimentary star and ideal fit for Adelman's read-and-react motion offense.

I wouldn't say never to the Nets deal with Lopez, because with the cap space... they'll have the potential to land LeBron or another superstar.

Even though Shaq has a fat contract, I wouldn't mind that idea of alternating nights to keep Yao fresh and it would be one very entertaining season.
