Heward-Bey didn't seem exactly thrilled to be going to the Raiders.

But why take Mitchell 2cd round if most teams had him going as early as 5th as late as a free agency pickup? That's what I'm confused about.

    So I just woke up.

Heard that Al Davis took a guy in the 3rd round that was projected to go in the 6th round.

    Wow

Or maybe the people who write on websites projected a 3rd rounder way too low.

Why is his name Heward-Bey? Did he get married but want to keep his name?

I don't know what the other teams had him graded but I hope he does well so he shuts up these draft experts. They also ripped the UH tackle being drafted in the 2nd round because they had him going in the 5th round.

Mike Florio said the Bears were going to take him 2 picks later, and when the Raiders took him, they traded back down.

How effing embarassing would it be if Quan Cosby goes undrafted? This is so dumb.

I yelled at the screen when they went back to them. Such a waste of time.

Patriots end up trading two of their 3rd round picks in this year's draft for two 2nd round picks in next year's draft. Sick. You gotta wonder why other teams keep allowing Belichick to stockpile draft picks like this.

Things I don't understand so far.

The Broncos-Orakpo was still on the board. I woulda taken him and then Maluaga with the other pick or Clay Matthews and shore up the run D. Why the heck would you draft another RB with that pick? Just wait till the 2nd round and pick Lesean McCoy. Nonetheless they did well in the 2nd with the Alphonso Smith and Darcel McBath picks. Plus they were saved by the ridiculousness and madness that is Al Davis. Picking D.Hey-Bey that high when Crabtree is on the board? How bout u trade down and then pick D.Hey-Bey.

Then u add the magic that is Jerry Jones(Not the Cowboys owner but the Cowboys GM).
Everyone knows u need to shore up the safety, cornerback, wide receiver and OT spots, plus draft a young QB. What do you do? Trade out of the 2nd while Phil Loadholt and ESPECIALLY WILLIAM MOORE the Mizzou safety are available??? WTF? They need a physical safety to play along Ken Hamlin especially when they realize Sensabaugh is not a reliable option. Then they draft a LB in the next round, while Rashad Johnson ANOTHER safety is on the board AND Juaquin Iglesias a solid WR!!!! I swear the Cowboys are almost as ridiculous as the Raiders, almost.
You take Stephen McGee, a glorified A&M backup over Rhett Bomar? I think that one is up for debate adn we'll see what team has the last laugh, the Giants or the Cowboys.

The Eagles got a major steal with Ingram. That kid is going to be a stud. Easily an upgrade over LJ Smith or whoever it is that plays TE for them these days, and they got him in the 5th round.

Why did the Texans take two TE when they have OD?

Man I can't believe Macho Harris fell all the way down to the 5th round.

I hope he does good in Philly though. Hopefully he will become a star playing with that defense.

I just found out the Eagles traded for Ellis Hobbs. Do the Cardinals need a cornerback. ;)

Because they need a TE who can block from time to time.

Casey is not going to just play TE for the Texans. He'll be on special teams a lot and may be the teams new long snapper.
