How is it lame? It's awesome. A sweet ending to the stupid feud the media created between Shaq and Kobe.

Chris Paul was the MVP. Guy's like in his own world out there. Can't stand his trash-talking against the Rockets, completely impressed with his control of the game. Brandon Roy looked solid, too (Damn you, JVG!)

That was one of the better All Star games I've seen in awhile. I think Chris Paul should of gotten MVP though.

You may be right but would you bet on the cousins if they were invited into the slam dunk contest against James?

I like the power and height (his lead is at the same level as the rim) demonstrated in that dunk.

The media didn't create it, they may have instigated it and sensationalized it, but those 2 didn't really get along that much, and it was a jealous pissing match while together with the Lakers. Remember Kobe ratted out Shaq after his rape trial.

lol Kobe giving this the regular season game treatment
    29 minutes, 27 PTs, 12-23 FG, 3-8 3Pter, 4 RB, 4 AST, 4 ST

Lebron had 19 shots. The next closest guy had 13 shots.

Vince Carter is one of the best dunkers in the history of the dunk contest.

Lebron has never done anything really creative. He's like Rudy Fernandez, a great in game dunker, not flashy enough to (legitimately) win the dunk contest.

Of course T-mac and Vince would struggle in a dunk contest against James. Well I know T-mac would I'm not sure about Vince.

If you put Lebron in that 2000 slam dunk contest I think he would come in 4th place, unless he has something up his sleeves that is crazy.

But I think some of you will be disappointed in Lebron for next years dunk contest.

Then again since he is entering he must have something up his sleeves. Should be interesting.

Well I agree with you with that most of the All Star actitivities were bad, but I thought the main All Star game was pretty good for at least the first half. It was really nice watching them play defense early on. The game was still good in the 2nd half, but the West ran away with it pretty much so it made for a less interesting game. It didn't really look like East was trying as hard as the West though.

Yes, Vince Carter is one of the all time best dunkers, that I agree with. I believe he still has some left in his tank, perhaps he should be invited next ASG too.

I don't think LeBron will enter, because he's not interested in coming up with some crazy gimmicks. He's the most exciting in-game dunker in the game. He's not going to come up with anything in a dunk contest that will top what he does on a regular basis.
