1 pound less. I'm not looking at my weight anymore. I'm using my waist and lil pouch as an indicator if i'm losing fat. I exercised two times last week. I ate pretty good until Friday/Saturday.
188.4 I was actually down to 187 on Friday. But the Weekends kill me because that is when I eat sweets, drink kool-aid, and my mama cooks that good meal on Sunday.
I believe the only lasting results comes from hitting the gym and eating decent food, including enough protein to assist in building muscle. All these fluctuations could be just water weight.
Yup! And I've been hittin' the gym and deating decent food (and LOTS of it). I've gained 5.2 lbs! Woo hoo! (I'm trying to gain up to 200 and I'm at 184.6).
OK you guys. I am sooo pumped up. I just weighed myself for the first time since December 20th. I have been at the gym since 6 days a week 3 days of weights and 3 days of pure cardio, and eating 5 -6 times a day complex carbs, protein and vegetables. Drinking lots of water and on the 7th day eating whatever the hell I wanted as much as I wanted. I am 5'11, Originally I weighed 219, and today I found out I am down to 197! My clothes don't fit anymore. I think I want to lose another 15 lbs and I will be set. I am so excited.
awesome! i'm on pretty much the same schedule, and i've been losing a consistent 1 1/2 pounds a week. only i haven't been eating whatever i want on the 7th day maybe i should try that.
What does your workout routine consist of? Also what are your stats? If your thinner with lest body fat than thats an explanation. Also you are probably building a lot of muscle. Pounds don't mean squat if you are working out right. Look at your clothes, your body, etc. I dropped from a 38 to a 34. Im sure you are toning up bro.
i'm happy with the 1.5 per week. i've been trying to keep it between 1 and 2 pounds to avoid losing muscle. i'm 5'10", 37 years old, and started at 200 and now i'm 192 lbs. eat six meals a day, every 2.5 hours for around 1900 calories. up to 3 miles in 30 minutes 3 days a week lifting has been moderate, but about to get more intense. i'm starting a 7 week cycle: 3 weeks of 3 sets per exercise 3 weeks of 4 sets per exercise 1 week of 2 sets per exercise during each week, i have a heavy day, light day and medium day. this program has worked wonders for me in the past for size and strength. i'll add more calories to the diet as i go along.
Congrats man. Keep it up. Your routine sounds similar to mine. I am using Body for Life, which do you use?
