    I disagree, I think there will be some great deals to be had this summer. It's a buyer's market and if Morey deems someone worthy of 2 mil a season then I trust his judgment. Of course this is assuming we retain the MLE or get the injury exception.

    Great deals for whom? I'm all about getting great deals, but getting a grea deal for a semi-star player next year is better than getting a great deal for a rotation, sometimes-starter this season.

    I've brought this up before, the rox should pawn Battier off to the clipps for Jordan. They would get almost under the cap with a move like that. Actually, it would put them at 65m, but thats better than where theyre at now.Jordan makes 770k and he's a young center which would help the rockets. Battier could be the first off the bench at the wing. Cook and Hayes for Hayes and boone. It works for both teams.

    you can't sign or trade for players (unless within a certain percentage of your original salary value). If you're over the salary cap, you can only sign guys with your exceptions (i.e. LLE and MLE).

    Over the salary cap = limited player flexibility
    Over the Lux tax = pay luxury tax
