    That's pretty mean of you. I get you, though, I won't root for anyone else but my 'Stros, and when they're in anything, I'll root for them against whomever it is they're playing. Now, if my national league does better because Lidge stops the Rays and saves the games, would you at least accept he is a good player on a good team that stayed ahead? I guess MadMax said some things I wanted to say. :eek:

    I've held an admiration for the Phillies in the back of my mind since watching the beginning seasons of Boy Meets World.

    I like Philadelphia as a town, and like their sports teams.

    Finally I can enjoy watching a World Series between two teams I don't dislike.

    I'm going to side with Philly. I liked them even before Lidge got traded over there. Rollins, Howard, Utley, and Victorino are guys I like to watch.

    Phils in 5 (would say 6 but I don't want anymore politics in my sports)

    Lidge vs. Jim Hickey

    Nothing bad to say about either, but I think I will back Lidge...God knows he's deserved some redemption and then some. Took his lumps like a man.
