1) Lower my Cholesterol, which will be hard considering I'm in college. 2) Get in shape for spring break. 3) Make good grades.
Is there something wrong with diet sodas? I have been drinking at least 6 per day for 3 or 4 years now. 1. No resolution, life is awesome. Kill yourselves
too much soda, whether diet or not, really isn't good for you. especially when it's being substituted for water.
I do the same thing. Everyone says it's bad, but no one explains why. It has water, it hydrates you. I have suffered no ill effects.
^Good luck with that and the rest of your life. Get better grades, mostly stop procastinating. Gym every other day. Eat less junk food, it really shows on your face-don't care what you say.
That's what I've been doing lately. The Rockets make me so upset sometimes. Ever since I stopped getting down emotionally because of them, my entire life has been uplifted by a newfound positive spirit. I love being proud, loud, and committed to my team, but they've started to act like an abusive boyfriend lately. You can only stick around so long before you get really fed up and dump them. Of course, if the abusive boyfriend starts gelling and playing like a solid WC team should, maybe we can get back together. My New Years resolutions: 1. Work out consistently/lose weight 2. Spend a maximum of 1 hour on the computer each day for non-school related surfing 3. Be more adventurous. Enjoy the city. Go see my friend play at coffee houses. Go hiking at nice parks just outside Houston. 4. Make straight As and finally... 5. Drinking lots and lots and lots of water.
I agree. I have never seen any hard proof that diet sodas are harmful. Every so often someone will say it slows metabolism but I don't see those effects nor buy it. Recently (someone major) announced that if you drink enough non-water drinks it does apply to your water intake for the day. So ya I don't get it. Someone show me some proof and make me feel stupid.
Before schooling, mostly what I had been exposed to when I was a young lad, r&b, gospel, and very little, but influencing hip-hop. Now, I'm looking to get into some choral, orchestral, jazz, and old pop stuff.
-I need to be more disciplined about when I go to sleep and wake up. -I'm thinking about switching careers as well while still relatively young. Will have to go back to school for that. -I need to quit dozing off in the middle of the day as well.
Good thing y'all don't live in Arizona, or the amount of water being consumed could turn into a real issue in '08.
Amen to that. Know of where I can get a good guitar instructor??? Aside from that: 1. Eat healthy/watch what I eat at night/workout/drink lots of water 2. Start my 401k. Company doesn't offer it till I'm there for 1 year, which is march. 3. Pick up photography by getting my first SLR (HOPEFULLY by march). Jeff, maybe you can give me some advice on where to start? 4. Stop boozing so much. 5. Be a better son to my parents. 6. Be more active in my god son's life. 7. Take my GMAT's and get at least a 650. (Pretty reasonable goal...) 8. Get out of my job and get into a better paying one.
