Mariners possibly on the block: J.R. House - 28 year old GAG catcher With my admiration for Palmieri, J.R. is an odd man out in Seattle. J.R. has B range at catcher and can also play 1B. His contract is a fair 3.5 million and he is locked up for 4 years. Tony Torcato - 26 year old GAA rightfielder Tony is a good lefty contact hitter, and is also a good in avoiding K's. Tony would be a good top of the order guy and he has an affordable 3 million contract for 3 years. Jorge Padilla - 29 year old ABG rightfielder Jorge is a powerful hitter with a good walk drawing ability and excellent stealing ability. His contract is a very nice 3 million and he will make that bargain price for at least 4 more years. Jeff Heaverlo - 30 year old GAGG starter Jeff is a good pitcher with excellent duration who had an off-year this year. After a bad start I sent him to AAA, eventually brought him back up and he has been playing better since. Jeff makes 7 million and his contract is up after next season. If you are interested in someone and have trouble affording them, I may be able to throw in a little cash. I am open to young prospects at most positions and would also be interested in nice MR's. I could also use a good 3B that is already in the majors if you happen to be trading one.
