Actually, they could have at least waited until the preseason games had been played before jumping to conclusions. I swear, where has all the professionalism gone?

"about right", i have no idea exactly where the Texans will land in 2008's draft. thats Nostradamus' gig ...

as perennial bottom feeders its a pretty safe bet they'll continue their history of futility. :D

aww burn. i get fun of for making a thread (ive probably made about 20 in five years) when i never make any.

i did it mostly to annoy people because simply (i know its been discussed as lame) because i thought it was a HORRIBLE move to not take Vince Young last year, and if not him at least the little saints running back that looked ok.

so i just made it because i thought it might get a laugh out of a few people. but if you want to Lock the thread send a letter to someone if it bothers you that much.

    or is it North Shore?

    Hell, It's H-town. SUCKAAAAAAAAAAA

man, we should have drafted Selvin Young.

But Denver picked him up, so oh well Texans, enjoy the first pick for the next 30 years.

i didn't mean to come off like an ******* about it. it's just that i don't see the point of the thread about some random guy who made a mock draft for NEXT year. like you said, you were trying to annoy people. why? plenty of folks do that in EVERY other Texans thread.

YES, WE KNOW THAT THE TEXANS SCREWED UP BY NOT TAKING VINCE YOUNG!

ahh dont worry about it man. i think i have yet to really get mad about anything over the internet.

thing is about the texans. pretty much everybody agreed that the texans should have taken that UT or USC player that made pretty much all of college football look like HighSchool JV football. But they didnt and now they look dumb.

Now I fully understand when someone thinks people should get over that and stop bringing it up.

But i playfully root for the Texans to lose now on Sundays. And i think its humorous when Vince Young practically wills his team to a win on the same day.

and blah blah blah i know i think i read stuff like this over a year ago but the texans would have had them another fan but they had to go against what was so simple and obvious. never put that on this message board. but whateva : )

How did you find this site? I don't even know why we should care about a guy who's site looks like it hasn't changed it's layout since 1999. It looks like he created this site for a highschool computer class and decided to keep doing it.

yes, yes - we did agree on that. 370 days ago and counting...

    i don't think you do...

you saucy little mynx, you... playful, but with the slightlest hint of a willingness to seize the bull by its balls and ride it all the way to hell - am i right? tell me more, only slower - but, wait; let me undo my pants first...

    it IS humorous, yes...

you "think" you read this stuff over a year ago? what, before taking that long-planned vacation to 1999?

I know Bobby Reid played for North Shore...which is in the Galena Park school district. But maybe he is from Galena Park Texas.

That would be cool..I graduated GPHS..and live in North Shore.

BTW one year North Shore lost in the playoffs to VY's Madison Marlins or whatever. But they took the title the next year.

Yeah, you only won AFTER VC. So your championship has an asterisk. Sorry man.

Or, if he was still there, and you guys beat him, that's awesome too, but it's just not as fun to post.

Just look at last year's stats, and it's easy to see who's the better QB:

    Young:
G QBRat Comp Att Pct Yds Y/G Y/A TD Int Rush Yds Y/G Avg TD Sack YdsL Fum FumL
    16 82.1 302 442 68.3 2767 172.9 6.3 11 12 53 195 12.2 3.7 2 41 240 16 7

    Carr:
    15 66.7 184 357 51.5 2199 146.6 6.2 12 13 83 552 36.8 6.7 7 25 129 11 3

Rex Grossman's team had a great record, which shows he's a truly awesome QB!
