I think there were like 12 teams in the league, total then. And what good is that WS to the Cubs now? Their entire identity is based off being losers. A WS victory 100 years ago is virtually meaningless to the people showing up at Wrigley Field today. All they've known is failure. And the fact that the Astros have most postseason wins at MMP than the Cubs have at Wrigley is just precious.
With the Rays' win, the Rangers are now the only franchise in all of baseball to have never won a postseason series.
I seriously can't take another Sox title. It sicks me even thinking about the possibility. F**k useless Cashman, f**k clueless Hank. Now go Rays and go Dodgers. Go Manny! Joe Torres all the way!
How sweet would it be to see the Dodgers move into the WS and perhaps win? I mean, with Torre up front, and Manny doing the damage. That's nuts.
Bay was hurt last year and played through injury. The fact that you didn't know that just proved my point.
I would love the Rays to win, but I think it'll be the Sox in 6....I also like the Dodgers to win the NL in 6 as well...
Here's hoping that both of these series go to 7 games. That Rays-Sox series is going to be amazing........those teams HATE each other. It seems like everytime they get together, tempers flare, and now with so much on the line, you know s**t is gonna go down.
