I'm sorry but if I have to sit through 17,000 more StankTV ads, I'm not going to watch the playoffs. Its just not worth it.
I thought about that, but given that the wild pitch rolled a few feet down the third base line (toward where the runner would be) and not behind the plate, I'm not sure even Michael Bourn would've been dumb enough to go home on that. Though it would've made for an interesting case study.
I can't see any other explanation. I'm asking some Philly fans in another forum. Waiting for a response.
It is probably a hard and fast rule with respect to the WP and no judgement can be used. Kind of like that "you can't assume a DP (unless Tejada is batting)" rule.
well, here I am after a long day at the office just wanting to kick back and enjoy myself and some playoff baseball, and there is Joe ****ing Buck and Craig Sager just ruining my entire evening. Cubs lose, so I 'm still pretty happy.
Tell me about it, I can't stand the guy. He's NOT funny at all. His skits / personalities suck. It's very repetitive. ....and annoying.
That entire sequence with Vlad was bizarre. Terrible decision to go to third, but what's even more confusing... why did he stop at second and wait to see if the catch was made? At that point, if Youkilis makes the catch, there's no way in hell he could come close to getting back to first in time. On the flipside, by the time he started, stopped and started again... he was out by 30+ feet with his aggressive play trying to get to third.
Where is the poster A.J.? Cubs fan, just like the others, posting when they are winning and quiet when they are losing.
Pretty good story for the Rays with their first postseason victory ever. . Wheeler closed it to boot.
AJ is the classic bandwagon fan. Annoying and trolls everywhere when they win, eerily silent and nowhere to be found when they lose. Right AJ?
He is ignoring this thread, and he had to post the "At least we made it to the post season" excuse for the cubs chocking. When is the last time they made it to the World Series, no matter how long it is, it is never long enough.
Yep, that's why you don't start your ace on three days rest four times in a row. The Phillies are a brutal matchup for him in this situation too, simply because of all the patient hitters who won't beat themselves.
