carlos pena with a 2 run homer then longoria with a solo hr. rays 5-0. pulling for hunsicker to get another chance at the WS. It will be lidge vs hunsicker in the battle ex-stros.

there is another guy that Drayton ran off......

Director of scouting, his name eludes me. I read an article how Drayton was really pissed at this guy because he was spending all this money on developing our farm and pushing to sign draft picks.....

funny, he's in Tampa now. I wonder if Drayton is FINALLY begining to understand how this game works?

Yeah, that's pretty much how 99% of the media reports it and I'd believe it too. We had some of our best years under Hunsicker and it's a damn shame Drayton ran him off.

Purpura though? Seriously Drayton. Seriously. lol.

maddon got a lil too anxious, dan wheeler shouldn't have been out there that early.

Wheeler isn't a "closer" in the sense that he's only able to pitch the 9th inning (and has stuff suited for the 9th inning). He's been a set-up man most of his career, and he has barely above-average stuff.

Wheeler relies on PIN POINT control.... which he has none of right now. Maddon's biggest mistake was not recognizing that from the get-go (the 4 pitch walk), and getting somebody to either calm him down, or warming up in the pen.

Upton has played some shady center field this series.
