Marion provides 4 things that we lack. Size, athleticism, good % shooting, and defense all in one. Acquiring him allows you to blowup the entire guard roster outside of Tmac. By the way with his continuous movement on the floor, he would be an excellent player in RA system.
you can't have Elton Brand and a PG, just one. I think Landry, Scola, Draft pick (C/PF) can summ up that position.
The saddest part is we could've had him earlier and probably for less money. Not that I'm going to name names or anything. Jeff. Anyway, I'm not really sure what Rockets can get without messing up our core group. I'd like Green back only because he has so much potential and working on him for a year or two may pay off despite his low basketball IQ, but I'm going to be honest-- I really, really, really like our team right now and I'm not sure if I'm willing to part with any of our players. Man, I am so excited to see someone who agrees with me in getting Ramon Sessions! and oh also Rudy Fernandez!! One of them will do me, both of them will even be more great... Raptors say they will match any offer for Calderon this season, and I believe them......not that the rockets have enough salary space at the moment for him... go after Ramon Sessions, he like handed out 24 assists in like this game a couple of games before regular season ended this year. In his last three games he had 14,24,and 13 assists and 25,20,and 12 points. I think he only played like 3 games the whole year lol.
