well if he opts out his 20 mill contract in Miami, then he is not looking for just money, he is looking for a contender.

if hes not contend with Nash spoon-feeding him, i doubt he would be happy playing as a third option in a defensive team like houston. not to mention he cant create for himself and we dont have a great PG to get him dunks and layups

way underrating of Monta Ellis. He would be the ideal point guard for the Rockets. He can finish at the rim and shoot from the outside consistently. He's like an unselfish, efficient version of Iverson.

If there's anyway Houston could get him, they should do it.

I would offer him the Full MLE, no questions asked, even if it meant letting go of Landry.

I have to disagree that he can't create for himself. The guy is always attacking the rim and constantly on the move to get good position.

Houston is no longer a defensive team only, it is our players and not the system that mask it that way and hopefully the one dimentional players will all be gone next year. If we get SM we can let go of Batier in addition to Head, Harris, Hayes, Mutumbo, Alston all of that one dimentional dead weight that we are carrying right now.

Are you kidding? Yes, the munchkin Rockets were fun to watch on occasion during the season. However, taller and more athletic teams (like the Jazz) can just play volley ball with our slow little men....and, we the fans, get the short shrift.

Hayes and Head have to go. Brooks needs to add strength to his speed before he will be a more than 10-minute man. Landry has chronic knee problems and is one Darius Miles jump away from being done. I hope we don't pay much to retain him.

I'd like to see us give Green a good chance while taking good, long looks at Antoine Wright, Boki Nachbar and DeSagana Diop. Antawn Jamison would be wonderful but he and Arenas IMO are not leaving Washington.

Mickael Pietrus the best cheap solutions for a swing man back up.

    A big upgrade over Head.

    Make it happen Morey.

I think Landry is done he has not been the same since the injury, no shooting, jumping, FT, or defense.

i dont think Baron will leave Nellie's system he just likes the freedom too much.

i like Maggette. battier as 6th man. rather have a real starting PG that will compete with the other western PG's.

PG and C are the 2 most important positions to a championship team. never goin to win a ring with rafer.

He's not done IMO, but his chances at a big offseason contract are. He'll be lucky to get 3 mil a year after the way he faded post-injury.

Which ironically benefits the Rockets. Now they can use their MLE(provided Les doesn't get cheap) on a quality player.

Then use all of the expiring contracts to take advantage of a lottery-bound, rebuilding team looking to unload a player they don't need(Memphis and Mike Miller would be perfect).

I do not think he will get MLE. He will get a contract similar to what chuck Hayes got last year.

Who can we target with our Bi-Annual Exception I remember using it on that flop Derick Anderson if we have it at all this year?

Is that technically possible? I also don't think we have the LLE for the next season, because management didn't use it this year. Please correct me if I'm mistaken.
