Gooden should just sit down. He is too bone-headed and mistake-prone and defines the term "low basketball IQ". If he had 1/2 a brain the guy would be a decent starting PF.

People get on LeBron's d!ck, but he really had the 1 great game, the 46 in GM 5. Other than that he has been average.

Whereas Dwayne Wade last yr was spectactular in damn near every game.

Is still think D-Wade > LeBron

Damn that 3 at the end hurts. But much credit to the Cavs hanging in there, down by 5, w/ Lebron only scoring 4 points. Pretty good position to be in as a Cavs fan considering the circumstances.

And much credit to the Spurs for totally shutting down Lebron. Their making the role players score. Thanks to the Cavs defense they didn't need to score much. But like I said, Lebron needs to start getting his because they can't keep it this close all game (ie Lebron w/ 10 pts in game 1 vs Detroit).

Two other things: Varejao should never post up or make a decision on offense. I don't think he can even post up on Duncan's father. He should only score on offensive rebounds and wide open slashes to the basket thanks to someone else drawing the double team. And we need more Booby!!!!!!!! (Who doesn't?)

Parker (6/13) and Duncan (5/8) are smoking while Zero (1/6), Varejao (1/4), Hughes (1/4) and LeBron (0/7) are brick city. Yet the Cavs are only down by 5. Even with Manu's 3 at the end, they should be happy. If it weren't for 20 seconds of Drew Gooden's dumbness, the Cavs would be ahead at halftime.

Both teams probably feel good about themselves, though the Spurs should be uneasy. I got the impression the Cavs played under their ability more than the Spurs did.

In the 2nd half, nerves will come into play, especially during crunch time. I don't know if the Cavs are grown up enough on offense to pull this game out if they keep it close.

    Spurs are so boring.

If they dont blow you out, they wear you down. Pull away at the end of 2nd qtr or 3rd qtr. Same script everytime.
