Seriously, this same Spurs team could've EASILY had a couple of more rings over the past 9 years since they won their first.

Think about it: one year Duncan was injured and they were bounced out of the first round by the Suns (Kidd was still playing there). Then last season they SHOULD have won the series against Dallas, only for Manu to ignore Pops' warning to "not foul" and end up fouling Dirk to send the game overtime, where they end up losing.

This team could just as easily have 5 or 6 rings instead of four. It's a misperception that they can only win in 'odd years', whatever that means.

I think these Spurs are definitely a 'dynasty', despite not having a 2- or 3-peat. Sometimes it comes down to getting a lucky break or two to have things go your way.

Wow, Tim Duncan's wife is pretty ugly, as is LeBron's decision making.

4 of 9 is nice, but they are not a "dynasty", they have never defended their championship, they have never even gotten out of the 2nd round as defending champions. they went 4 yrs between the 1st and 2nd titles. To me, no dynasty.

Duncan plays like crap but the Spurs are still killing the Cavaliers.

    Yep...

Like suspending the Suns' second best player and a quarter of their rotation, while the series is tied 2-2 and their next game is in Phoenix.

Like Dirk Nowitzki busting his leg while the series is tied 1-1.

They better not give Finals MVP to Duncan. Parker deserves it.

I still can't see this team as a Dynasty.

How could it be anyone other than Parker? If it wasn't for him the series is 2-1 right now.

Eric Snow looks like he is more of the coach than Mike Brown, you get the feeling he could be a Avery Johnson situation. Snow leads the team while LeBroom eats his nails and Mike Brown is nowhere to be found.

AND it's justified: they can't "advance" any further than the NBA finals. It's called "final" for a reason...

It will be on Duncan if the Spurs lose this one.

Man, what's up w/ all the b****ing and whining here? If you don't like the game, hate Lebron, think everyone on the court is an idiot, etc. DON"T WATCH THE GAME. It's like a myspace convention in here.

BTW, lol @ the fan next to the crowd mic screaming like he/she is constantly being stabbed everytime the Spurs get the ball.

Freakin' Manu...how many times has he come up big in the clutch for the Spurs over the years?

BTW, Varajejo (sp?) is another big time flopper...
