I agree with you on Tracy's fleeting intensity. He takes too many games off and becomes a weakfish when teams get physical. Restricting him would indeed be helpful because he's proven to have poor judgment when it comes to shot selection. I'm not saying put him in a straightjacket, but the all-game every game green light must be turned off. Hopefully he won't pout about it.

seriously, watching yao shoot those fadeaways or rafer those floaters, i rather tmac take those wild shots. at least they are pretty when they go in.

but again, if u want tmac to stop taking those shots, get another playmaker in there so all tmac will do most of the time is finish.

he takes wild shots at times b/c he's so tired and thus he resorts to jump shots. unfortunately, his J is off.

in orlando, it was a beauty to watch.

As much as we like to rag on the guy, I can't blame Stern for this one. If you want him to make the two conferences more competitive and favor the big market teams, then you want a 'rigged' league.

I bet you Stern doesn't like this any more than we do, but his hands are tied...

Reruns of Thunder in Paradise would get better ratings than this ****.

I turned it on halfway through and turned it off.

I can't imagine how boring it was.

Cleveland has to be one of the worst NBA Finals teams of all time. Seriously, they're awful.

Reference this post a year from now whenever Ferry decides to stand pat this offseason since afterall the team has made "progress" and after they lose in the first round to Toronto, Miami or somebody like that.

You are pathetic. You have been dissing the other Rockets players, especially Yao, in order to talk up Tmac. And I am not talking about just this post only. You have been doing this for a while. I love Tmac too but, unlike you, I don't feel necessary to slight his teammates in order to make it out like he's the sole savior of the team. Last time I checked this team is still called Houston Rockets, not Tmac Rockets.

The Spurs just are too good...Yes, the cavs had 4th qtr rally's, but good teams finish...I think the Cavs will win one game, but that's about it...

Having said that, LJ will be hungry and be back next year and win...

I don't know. I still think the cavs are better than that 76er team that shaq and kobe had to face along with the nets team that made it to the finals twice this decade

nah man, that sixers-lakers series was competitive. AI was crazy in game 1 and winning the first game kept us watching till at least game 4.

but every game was competitive and went down to the wire. and u had superstars that caused u to watch -- iverson, kobe, shaq.

iverson was a beauty to watch that yr. 48 in game 1 was just ridiculous.

can someone tell lopez hakeem is a top 10 all time player AT LEAST? at least popovich thinks so

"The thing that's synonymous with other good teams in the past is
having the central player on your team have a great combination of competitiveness, character and talent, and all those teams had it," Popovich said. "(That is) the thing that characterizes us with David and then Tim.

"When you look at all those teams, whether it's Bill Russell, Celtics; or Larry Bird, Celtics; or Magic (Johnson) or Kareem (Abdul-Jabbar), Lakers; or Hakeem (Olajuwon), Rockets — whatever you want to say, there's always somebody like that."

just puttin it in there since this finals suck

This series is so "over." The NBA will have to "intervene" for the Cavs to win one. Looks like a sweep to me. At points the Spurs look bored.

I don't know. Besides game 1 and game 3, to me the lakers were easily in control. The outcome just seemed inevitable. No way could the 76'ers sustain any control over what Shaq was doing to them.

Basically 76'ers were a one trick pony like the Cavs but I think lebron can have more of an impact than just scoring unlike Iverson that year.
