By your definition, if Tracy is trying to be more like Magic, I sure wish he would cut out the pull up 3 pointers on fast breaks and junk that twist-around fadeaway jumper that clangs off the rim. On fast breaks, Magic viciously attacked the basket and would throw it down every chance he got. Tracy wants the easy way out and isn't tough enough to physically dominate players. He's gonna "keep on shooting". One thing Adelman needs to change from JVG is take away Tracy's green light to take any shot he wants.

Cavs down by 9...ANOTHER GAME 5 IN THE MAKING!!! J/k, at least the game is somewhat watchable now. Hopefully the Cavs can get some momentum going into game 3.

But that's sort of my point: is he comfortable being the 'go-to' guy on offense? May be he feels 'compelled' to be that type of player on teams that clearly need him to carry them offensively; I think he had a bit of an 'identity crisis' thing going on last season. I am not saying he's Magic Johnson, I am just saying will he 'evolve' like Magic or try to evolve like Jordan and Kobe? Which route will he take moving forward? What is he more 'suitable' for? How can you best utilize his abilities while maximizing his efficiency?

I think that's the biggest question with McGrady moving forward, and I think it's one that will be mostly up to his coach in terms of how he makes the game 'easier' for him, so that he can get better shots without necessarily having to take it inside every time down the court, because short of Dwayne Wade and Parker, no one really does that 'consistently', not even Kobe or Lebron.

Good for the Cavs for continuing to play hard. This will help them in game 3. Notice Pavlovic and Hughes are on the bench.

I hope the Spurs keep it up, otherwise they will lose this game at this rate. Thus, the game is watchable now.

Actually after seeing the replay, he did get tagged in the jaw... whether it warranted a fall or not is debatable. :D

Lol! after 3rd qtr, Pop already thinks they have the game won and put a lineup with 1 offensive player (manu, vaughn, oberto, elson, bowen) and let the Cavs cut the lead down by 10 in 2min 10 sec.? As good as Pop, that's very bad move. Now the momentum shift to the Cavs.

magic had 3 other HOFs playing with him son. so dont make it like its not hard either to take it himself or pass it to kareem inside or worthy or byron in the wing.

tmac is not trying to be like magic. talent-wise, even tmac-hater blindbury would tell u tmac is better. the thing that separates magic from the likes of tmac is the intensity. tmac doesnt play w/ 100% intensity every time and u see it.

kobe doesnt have more talent than tracy. but u see that intensity in his eyes EVERY game. u dont see that w/ tracy. and yes, he does let his defenders off the hook w/ his wack ass shot selection.

but i dont think restricting him would be helpful. what adelman would do and what JVG failed to do is to run SPECIFIC plays for tmac. JVG doesn't run plays for tmac. he gives tmac sets of plays to which if tmac wants to shoot or pass. its on him. thats why JVG doesnt criticize him.

w/ adelman, tmac will have specific plays on which he has to carry out.
