As soon as Boobie gets in the game the Cavs start playing a whole lot better.

Cleveland is not in the same zipcode as the Spurs. 4 0 at most 4 1 for the series.

Now I start to believe that the Rockets would roll over everyone else on our way to the finals if we were in the East.

Lebron getting in early foul trouble and taking him out basically conceded the game. Yeah, you want to avoid a 3rd foul, but they obviously got into a hole so deep it isn't worth it.

More like the "East blows" hard this season. The Cavs making the finals is akin to the Lakers from season before last (similar caliber team, IMO) playing the finals.

The Cavs play more disciplined defense, but I don't think they're that good. I still can't believe the Pistons rolled over and lost that series like that...shameful, really.

Mike Brown deserves one more year as the Cavs coach to see if he is up to snuff. Taking LeBron out for the last 9 minutes of the 1st quarter was the equivalent of conceding the game. Everything they do on offense revolves around him so whatever game plan they had got junked after 3 minutes. What a bone-headed decision not to show trust in your best player and therefore send your team into turmoil. The Spurs probably would be ahead anyway but at some point the Cavs players and organization have to question Brown's decision making. There is no way Hughes and Pavlovic should EVER be on the court at the same time because both guys are huge negatives right now. Put Gibson in the game and keep him in.

It's on the Cavs to play hard in the 2nd half and figure out a way to successfully attack the Spurs defense. It's bad enough they never did during game one but, again, it's an indictment against Mike Brown that game 2 will also be sacrificed to that cause.

The lack of offense really killed the Cavs defensive effort for long stretches of the first half. When the Cavs don't play defense, they can lose to any team. When they don't play defense against the Spurs, it means losing by 25 at halftime.

It's about a 1/3 chance the Cavs win a game in Cleveland. If they don't concoct some schemes on offense by the end of tonight's game, get out the brooms.

Last comment: LeBron needs to learn how to shoot. If he can't pull up and bury an 18 foot elbow jumper over Bowen, he isn't ready to be called the next "great one". I thought game 5 against Detroit was a fluke and that appears to be true. To get to the next level, LeBron needs to become deadeye 15 feet on in and at least reliable between 15-20 feet.

He and T-Mac have a LOT to work on this offseason. At least Lebron is still young, but McGrady needs to get his butt in the gym and follow in Bryant's footsteps by mastering that midrange jumper. That's what's setting Kobe apart offensively at this junction of their respective careers: his game is maturing to compensate for loss of athleticism AND to attempt and prolong his career instead of having to deal with getting physically beat up in the paint.

Kobe has taken the next step and has made the game much easier for himself in the past couple of seasons, his game is evolving much like Jordan's did in his second three-peat. McGrady, however, seems intent on becoming more of a Magic Johnson (focus on passing) than a Michael Jordan (focus on scoring). Not that trying to be like Magic is a bad thing, but if that's what he's aiming for then I would like to know. I compare McGrady to Lebron because they both have a similar 'instinct' for the game: they like to share the ball and don't want all that scoring pressure on them.

That being said, I still think Wade has the most effective game of any 2 guard in the league. Of course, his body is paying for it now. But he has that midrange game as well when he needs it.

I made Tony Parker's favorite pasta tonight to give the Spurs luck.

I don't think they needed it.

Why don't the Cavs try pressing a bit on defense. like out 3/4's court or something. Don't they need to do something, cuz nothign they are doing is working.

Also when will stop running Lebron through pick & roll's. He doesn't need them, and no one respects the picker.
