Acording to FIFA it's 1:15 CST, but ESPN2's coverage claims to be live and starts at 2. If you can speak Spanish, Univision's coverage starts at 1:30.
Thanks for the heas up fellaz. i wonder who the us is gonna get grouped in? love to get, Italy england Japan USA
Italy and England are both seeded so we could only be in a group with one of them. We're in the same pot as Japan so we can't be in a group with them.
EDIT: Beat me to it, RocketFan007. Follow along on http://soccernet.espn.go.com/index?cc=5901 (click the little "Follow it live" linkie thingie), or on TV.
texxx, Thanks for following in SPANISH! The name is Barbara Bermudo and here is more: http://www.univision.com/content/content.jhtml?cid=119471 Did anyone find out if there is a video feed online? PLEASE!!!!! I don't have a TV... shoulda called in SICK.
I hope USA can avoid the Netherlands and the Czech Republic. If we can do that we'll have a much better shot...
I don't know of any video feeds but FIFA has a Flash app keeping track of it. http://fifaworldcup.yahoo.com/06/en/w/fd/index.html
ESPN has a flash program that shoul dbe set up to show the draw. Right now it only has germany and Brazil listed so the action must not be started yet. Fifa also apparently has coverage, but they are runnign real slow. i am sure they are getting hammered. http://fifaworldcup.yahoo.com/06/en/w/fd/index.html Oops edited that in and didn't see the Dr. stuff above.
Balboa and Wynalda both say that the US will be a contender this year. They said to keep in mind that the US was hit with bad luck on the hand ball no-call vs Germany in 2002, and that the US outplayed Germany in that game. The next game would have been against South Korea, who was beatable...
The fifa site is pretty good too. they have running commentary of what is going on on one side and goofy chat on the other. the draw is about to actually start.
Group C the early group of death? Argentina, Ivory Coast and Netherlands already, that looks like the group to avoid.
