I think it's pretty funny how the refs (esp. Steve Javie) try to right their wrongs by compounding their mistakes with more dumbass calls.

Wow and now they're making up by giving SA some calls *clap clap* it's kinda 40 minutes too late guys.

The Spurs' interior defense is awful tonight. Every time they try to make a run, the Mavs get straight to the basket without any resistance.

    Embarassing.

I agree this game would have been won by the mavericks with or without the calls. And I think avery johnson is a pretty decent coach. It's obvious his adjustments made the difference in this game.

I really don't like Avery Johnson, but he's proven to be a very good coach if not a great one already. This is his rookie/sophomore season, and he won the COY. And now, he slaughtered the Spurs on the road, which hasn't happened since the 2001 Lakers.

You just have to give him credit for that. Now, we NEED TO get Sam Cassell back and make him our assistant coach. Sam possesses very similar quality to Johnson. We'd be fools if we don't do it.

I hate to admit it, but I'm routing for Dallas. The Spurs have had their glory, it's time for them to fade. Duncan gets aways with a lot, but I really don't like Ginobili's flopping game. I hate flops. I also hate it when a penetrator runs at a defender and jumps into him just to get a call. He didn't get the flop call in game 2, and was served a dose of his own medicine when he got popped in the chops.
    Good game.

Classic case of refs anticipating a play before it *actually* happens. Sometimes I think the NBA refs think they are too smart. Why not just call the game as you see it instead of....

-Well they were the agressors. They deserve to get away with murder.

-It's hard to officiate Yao and Shaq because of their size. Their body covers their defenders and next thing you know they are sprawled upon the floor. Has to be an offensive foul.

-Well it's Jordan. I better not call the 6th foul on him and foul him out of the game even though he took out what's his name's head...

-**** Dream! That move was too quick. Must have been a travel.

-Did you just let the ball go and look at it Manu? I know you were thinking about grabbing it. It's the thought that counts.

-Reggie Evans is one tough guy. He has been sacrificing his body all game for his team. How does he keep doing it without flopping?

-It's been a while since I have called a palming violation on anyone. Next play, the first person to touch the ball gets one called on him.*snicker*

    - *whistle* Was it a block or a charge? Was he inside the circle? Hmmm.... Let's see where that defender is. Well he is inside the circle so has to be an offensive foul. (need to take point of impact and momentum out of the equation or it gets messy)

-Love the Lakers game. This is where the stars come out and usually we get to be the stars at the Forum.

    -Jordan rules! ****! Slipped out....

-Oh goody! Gonna ref the JVG game tonight. Full use of 24 second shot clock on every possession means less running. I hate those suns f**kers.

-Stern thinks we miss 5% of the calls? Cmon,Violet Palmer cant jack it up that high all by herself, can she?! Anyways, who cares what Stern thinks. Its Cuban I am worried about.

-I love jump ball. The ultimate *fix it* button for anything on the court. If only life was as easy.

-Today's been a really bad day. I think I will take it out on the court. Hey, I am only human.

-Dirk has to be the most beat-up player in the league. The physical abuse he takes is just amazing.... poor guy ends up on the floor every time down the floor. Manu is a close second.

-Pistons play great defense. Not sure if its fair to call afoul on them. Ahh what hell, might as well call some so as to avoid conspiracy theories.

-Yao is one big soft pu$$y. How do you say 'soft" in chinese? 6 fouls should get the message across.

-Ugh....working with Violet Palmer tonight?! She sucks! I dont care if she is one of us. Will overrule her all night.

-Steve Javie thinking to *javie sucks javie sucks*... this is great. I totally took the crowd out of the game tonight in Spurs vs Zebras with a little help from the mavericks of course.

while the mavs may have gotten some 50/50 calls, it's not like they handed them the game. they shot all of 6 more ft's and actually got called for more fouls (27 to 26). i don't even know how they were complaining about that duncan charge. that seemed pretty obvious.

i think they just called too many fouls period (80 combined free throws). as for the barry block/charge play, barry got set but howard moved to the side and barry leaned with it and got the blocking foul. that happens quite a bit and looks like a charge from that camera angle but isn't.

and the chant was "javie sucks"? i could swear the first syllable was "ref" but maybe not. do they have a history with javie or something (on hornfans some acted like they didn't like javie) because a crowd calling out a specific ref seems kind of weird.

I just don't want Dallas to win this series, it pains me to say it but i'd rather see the Spurs advance than them.

And i hate the Spurs. Hoefully Detroit will take care of them.

I think there were 2 chants. "Ja-vie sucks", and "Refs, you suck".

Eva Longoria blurted the later out when the camera was on her, very easy to read those lips....mmmmm.....

    this series is heating up

the way i see it though is the Spurs win game 3 - or least 4. And then take it out in 7.

but then again i've been wrong before...

my dream Finals - Detroit vs Phoenix

this would mean S.A. and Dallas don't make it and i'm sure Detroit will slaughter the defensively-challenged Suns.

but before we get to that, i hope this series goes 7 games with Dallas emerging victorious. another rematch of Dallas and Phoneix would be awesome.

alot of times i wish the crowd would chant "Bullsh!t" when refs blatantly blow call after call.

Harris has been the difference in the last two games. He is making Parker his b**** and all Parker can do is blow him.

Avery Johnson is a great coach. He strategy against the Spurs is the same that they use against Rockets in game 7 of last season's PO. They are letting Duncan to score at will and try to contain the rest, ala letting Yao and TMac get theirs and contain the rest. As such, the Spurs struggle mightily and risk at letting Dallas taking the series in 6 games.

You know, I said to myself that if I (ugh) had to root for a team in the Spurs-Mavericks series, it might be the Mavericks this time. You know- the Spurs have already won 3, it's time for someone else to represent the West, etc. And then, I turned on the TV, and I watched Dirk flopping, and I watched Jason Terry pumping his fist after every shot, and I had to look at Josh Howard's face- and I remembered, "Now I remember why I can never, ever, ever root for the Mavericks."

    Go Spurs.

Duncan's Moving screen to allow parker the alleyway to the basket
    is just weak

Duncan has 5 fouls now. . . He won't foul out
