My girlfriend is back in Dallas for the summer so I can now openly cheer against the Mavs in my own living room. Let's see a game 7.

Horrible Call... All Dirk has to do is drive.. he either gets a basket or FT's

That Duncan foul was a terrrible call.

earlier Gino flopped on a Howard drive, and Howard returned the favor in the next sequence.

An actor is the best defense against Gino-flopper.

If the Mavs win it all (and they wont) will they say they're the worst champions in NBA history? Hakeem would've mopped the floor with them.

Honestly, why does Dirkgina think he's a badass? He just got an and-1 and hes acting like he beat up a busload of marines. Nevermind that Dirkgina gets more bogus calls for him than AI and that if someone so much as farts in his direction he'd get a 3 shot trip to the FT line.

What happened to that rule regarding flopping? Didn't they say earlier in the season that flopping would be punished? I don't understand, the refs KNOW that Nowitzki is a masterful flopper, and he gets the call against Tim Duncan of all people?

They SCORED that 3 point basket? It was in Marquis hand as the red light was going off.....

The Spurs are getting royally screwed.

Edit: they rescored it as NO good.....but the calls are getting ridiculous.

Boy, leave it to the 'veteran' players to f*** over the Spurs chances of winning the game

More and more, I am wondering if all the talk about having a 'veteran team' means next to nothing anymore. For the past few seasons, teams with younger players have done pretty decent for themselves, and very young guys like the Mavs' Howard, Daniels, and Harris -- not to mention the Suns' Diaw and Barbosa -- have been impact players in the playoffs.

Seriously, I think having a 'veteran team' is about the most overrated concept in the NBA.

Let's see if any of those young bucks win a championship before you hand the car keys over to them. Sleepy Floyd was a badass in a second round playoff game, too.

I feel like I am in the minority here. I'm rooting for the Mavs big time.

I understand how you feel; I want them both to lose. However, given a choice I choose to root against the team that beat us in the playoffs.

If you'd asked me if this series was going seven games just a few days ago, I would've said, "Probably not."

    Shows how much I know.

I'm so tired of the freaking Spurs, I'm ready for anyone to take them down. That being said, I also hate the Mavs and would freaking love it if they choked away this series. At this point I'm leaning towards hoping for the stomach punch, defeat from the jaws of victory shellacking of Dallas. Another long summer for Dirk and Cuban and company would delight me to no end. Hopefully that gets taken care of right now and the Clippers/Suns take down the Spurs in the next round as well.

    Heart.

The X-factor this series has been Michael Finley... what a timely three as well as great defense on the last possession along with timely, momentum-turning plays all series. Also, props to Manu and Parker, two guys that are inconsistent from the line, for making the shots when they had to. One more!
