Ahh yes, the "My team lost so lets blame it on the refs" mantra. So original. I have never heard that one before.

What clutch shots did they make? They hit two shots in the last four minutes of regulation then they only hit two shots in overtime. That isn't clutch.

Hell, they called a timeout only to throw the inbounds pass out of bounds.

If you are going to talk about the reasons the Spurs lost, at least bring up all the reasons.

They will probably not give one flop call to Dirk all night... and Cuban and the rest of the Mavs fans will be livid, because they don't "understand" why refs do what they do.

Sounds more like you're describing everyone who's been whining about refs for the past couple of games on here.

Well, calling flops is what everybody here is complaining about... so if they stop calling them, it won't upset anybody here.

Also, I bet Dirk doesn't even attempt to flop... and actually nuts it up and plays a good road game. Watching that would gain a little respect from some of the non-biased fans who can't stand flopping.

I don't undersand why San Antonio doesn't go real big with Nazr Huhammed and Duncan and run a ZONE on defense?

Pound the small ball on offense and zone out on D.

Gasp... somebody is questioning the all-mighty Popovich?!? (who is actually more stubborn in his ways than JVG).

    Cool new Gatorade commericals.

Let's see, Garnett, Manning, Wade, Jeter.....and Jennie Finch?

Who doesn't belong in this picture? It's like a movie starring Clooney, Zeta-Jones, Anthony Hopkins, and Carrot Top.

Shooting beats a zone. Terry and Dirk would absolutely light up a zone and considering those are the Mavs two best offensive players, that makes the zone a bad idea.

I am a little surprised they haven't put Duncan on Dirk more (or really much at all).

You can take away 2 perimeter players with a zone, and make the others beat you.

I'm pretty sure that block by Bowen gets called for a foul if this game is in Dallas.... and the ensuing jump ball is likely a foul as well.

And I hate agreeing with the homer Steve Kerr, but he just said this himself on the air. (further indicating that he's rooting against the Mavs, as he was secretly blaming the officials the whole time).

Ugh... there's just so much to hate about both teams. (but more the Mavs).

I'm predicting a Stocton-like buzzer-beater for the Mavs that will send the Spurs into the same tailspin that the 90's Rockets went through after that shot... they had some okay teams, the Pippen fiasco, but they were never true contenders again (and still aren't).

Then, Dallas loses to Phoenix in the WCF.

    THAT is my hope.

Who the hell is Jennie Finch? I was trying to figure out who that girl was when I saw that commercial. I have no clue.

Nowitski doesn't get 4th quarter crunch time ticky-tack foul calls... and it costs Dallas the clincher.

This was a game where they played well enough to not need the ticky-tack stuff to win... but they still lost.

An above average looking former US softball player who, thanks to 5.5 gallons per square foot of make up and ESPN.com page 2 hyperbole as well as industrial airbrushing, became mildly famous in 2003 and 2004.
