Mavs fans are a bunch of bandwagoners... just like Houston, but worse since they actually haven't accomplished enough to generate true "die-hard" fans.

Why is any of that Dallas' problem though? You think they should tell the refs "please stop calling fouls? If Dallas is getting fouls called, they should keep doing what was working. At the end of the day, you play the way that works.

Nice evidence right there. Typical Mav fan response.

For basketball, I'd say that's the case for just about every team in the league outside of maybe New York. Can you name another team that really supports their team when they lose consistently?

Basketball is a bandwagon sport, for the most part, as compared to something like football.

No. Don't know if you've been lurking a long time or whatever, but it's actually more...how to put this...there's this...thing...with The Cat and refs...

The old timers know what I'm talking about.

Let's just put it this way. If there's something Cat doesn't agree with...then it is almost certain he will mention the refs.

It has nothing to do with the Mavs, in that sense.

Boy you would think the Mavs won the championship seeing how cocky they're acting at the end of the game (and every game they've won this series). I really hope the Spurs come back and spank them in seven...or just any team to spank them. I do not want that collective of players and owner to win a ring.

Stern just wants the "MVP Nash vs his old team" storyline for the WCF!

Well it ain't gonna happen cuz hopefully the clippers can pull out the series win and the spurs then it will be Cassell vs Horry :). Not as high ratings but us rocket fans will be watching.

What evidence can I provide? You hate the Mavs and your post show it.

I actually think Dallas has too much firepower for the Spurs this year, which is why I think Dirk is overrated, he has the luxury of hiding behind a deep team and scoring off of their penetrations...and the ridiculous superstar calls he gets when he isn't even one, he is a sharpshooting decoy that has been marketed cleverly as a "superstar".

Hence the reason why I'm saying the officiating is horrible.

Dallas can keep doing whatever they want... and if the refs keep calling games in their favor, they'll win it all. I'm just saying that if the refs don't call the ticky-tack stuff for them, they don't have a shot in hell of beating the Spurs or Detroit in a 7 game series.

I will give them credit, however, for making the adjustment after game 1, and blowing out the Spurs because of it in game 2. Without that adjustment and result, this series could have ended tonight in a sweep.

I am wondering why he hasn't been playing, and guarding Nowitski?

Horry is quick enough and big enough, I don't get it.

Instead of making blanket statements that effectively are personal character attacks, why don't you actually analyze the calls I discussed and tell me where my analysis is wrong? Thanks in advance.

There is a reason why the Rockets fans are called as the biggest whiners against the referees. Geese, this is a Dallas vs SA series and the Rockets fans are treating it like Dream against the world.

You can deny it all you want. Dallas is an incredibly talented and athletic team. The mere fact that they don't rely on Dirk to close the game in the 4th quarters speaks volume about the talent on that team.

Or, because if Dirk isn't going to the FT line, he's pretty guardable... (and at the end of games, he shouldn't be going to the line on ticky-tack stuff... but not this game apparently).
