no it helps. kaman has a bum shoulder, and sam needs to rest. cuttino needs to work on his jumper too. http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/recap?gameId=260518012 Cassell, actually 36, said he could have used some extra time off after extending himself in Tuesday night's double-overtime game. "It took its toll on me," Cassell said after getting 15 points and eight assists but committing six of his team's 19 turnovers. "I want the championship for us. My crew is ready," he said. "You have to take advantage of these opportunities because you never know when they're going to come back."
It would have been so much better watching Kobe lose to the Clippers, but then again, that would have meant that the Lakers would have won a series...and that's unbearable.
even if KT does make it back, I don't think he'd be much of a factor. he's been out quite awhile and it's not that easy to just jump back in, especially considering the intensity of the playoffs.
Air Time for Cassell The Clippers' Sam Cassell will be among the players featured on "NBA Access With Ahmad Rashad" on Saturday at 3 p.m. on Channel 7. Of being traded to the Clippers, Cassell says, "I talked to Mike Dunleavy and he said, 'Sam, here's the basketball, here's your personnel. It's up to me and you to get this thing together.' " Cassell also talks about arranging a dinner during training camp to address the team. "In order to win, the good teams have some kind of family values," Cassell says, "and I don't think this team ever had it because they never won. "Me and Cuttino [Mobley] got the guys together and I stood up in the meeting and said, 'Guys, if you want to be successful, this is where it starts. We don't have to like each other, but we have to respect each other, especially on the basketball court.' "
me too. This 3 game break will help the Suns a bit more than the Clippers, especially Nash - he said he was exhausted in some interviews. The Suns played reaaaaly bad basketball in the 4th quarter of that last game and didn't even take advantage when the Clips weren't doing that good either (mostly Cassell and his bad passes). They just kept running down and throwing up bad shots. anyway I hope Clippers win the series and go against the Spurs since I don't like the Mavs. oh wow I just noticed I haven't been here for a month. that feels weird.
hang in there. the suns are playing incredible but the lead isnt so large. sam is putting barbosa in foul trouble
sam's shots are in and out, expect a MONSTER 2nd half from SAM. its close, you'd think the suns would be up double digits.
i like this series better, there's a clear good guy team. the clippers. the mavs vs spurs is like the nazis vs al queda.
