What happens if Bush decides to return to USC?

Then who do we draft? Maybe hang Leinart in teams face?

Bush BETTER come out!! I would hate to think after watching the game today he says "I don't want to play for that crappy team!!"
He still actually has some power on his side, as opposed to a senior!!!

Do people realize Rudi Jhnson was a 4th rd pick? I think if the Texans can solidify the line, they should.

Just for fun... I like to see what other people think. You don't have to play if you don't want to.

How about showing us your Top Six (without Bush) then?

I'm just playing around. I think you made some rational picks, but I don't think Young will leave UT early.

    Code:
    1. HOU Reggie Bush, RB, USC
    2. NO Matt Leinart, QB, USC
    3. TENN Jay Cutler, QB, Vanderbilt
    4. NYJ DeAngelo Williams, RB, Memphis
    5. GB A.J. Hawk, OLB Ohio State
    6. SF D'Brickashaw Ferguson, LT, Virginia
    7. OAK DeMeco Ryans, LB Alabama
    8. BUFF Mario Williams, DE, NC State
I don't expect Vince Young to go pro and I almost assume there will be trades made in the top-6. I'll give the QB edge to Cutler as the hometown Tennessee boy, even though I don't feel he's first-round caliber.

Yeah, I know. I'm getting ahead of myself. But damn that would be a scary line-up...

    How about:

Houston - Trades the #1 overall pick to the NY Jets for their 1st (4th overall), 2nd and 3rd round picks this year and a first and third rounder next year. Houston now has the following:

    (2) 1st round picks (#4 overall this year and a 1st ronder in 2007)
    (2) 2nd round picks this year (#33 and #36)
    (4) 3rd round picks (#65, #66 from N.O., #68 from NYJ, and a 3rd in 2007)
    (1) 4th round pick (#97 overall)

That gives the Texans seven of the first 100 picks in the draft and two extra picks next year from a team that will most likely not improve very much over this year. These extra picks could go a long way in helping them shore up their shortcomings.

    1) New York Jets - Reggie Bush, RB, USC
    2) New Orleans - Matt Leinart, QB, USC
    3) Tennessee - A.J. Hawk, LB, tOSU
    4) Houston - D'Brickashaw Ferguson, OT, UVA

If the Texans can get a package of picks like this, they got to make that trade. There are too many weaknesses on this team and securing extra picks in the first couple rounds can go a long way (with the right scouting and decision-making of course).

It scares me to have Charlier Casserly making that many early picks....

It scares me that Casserly will be around AT ALL after tomorrow. Guy is worthless. No sense of talent evaluation at all. If he had any, he'd have not trusted/allowed so many of Capers' decisions on who to draft. Or sign.
    Freakin' IDIOT!
