Boy, this thread sure has stayed on topic. I think Adrian Peterson is the next Jim Brown. Go to Adrian-Peterson.com and look at those videos. Yeah, Bush is Sayers. Peterson is JB with a little bit more speed.
Tell me who wouldn't have been a reach at 16, then? The reality is, once you get to that point (mid first round and lower), there isn't a consensus like there is for the top pick. There will be guys today projected as possible first rounders available late in the third. They're all clustered after the top 10 or so. You can make a case for anyone available at 16 last year to be a reach... let me know the player, and I'm pretty confident I can find you a few mocks where they were at the end of the first.

We've got one great running back, a pretty good backup, and then some decent parts after that. Top that off with an excellent scheme, and I don't think we need another running back. At least, we don't need to trade up and get one.
Bob McNair was on the NFL network just before the draft started and said "We've got one good running back in Domanick Davis, we still have to get a 2nd running back" So yeah, thats what makes me think they are looking at Williams.
Bob McNair's never heard of Vernand Morrency? Or Jonathan Wells? I believe both have shown flashes to be capable backups. Even if we are looking for a servicable backup, I don't think we need to look until the third. There's just more than likely going to be too good of an offensive lineman falling into our lap to trade that second rounder to move up.
Reports from ESPN radio say that despite the fact that the shops at the Radio City Music Hall had an equal number of all teams' hats, the Titans hats are the only ones sold out. One rumor said that they sold out within 30 minutes of the draft pick.
I'll be pissed if the Texans trade back into the first for a RB. If they do a deal, I'd love to see them trade up for Winston Justice.
