Holy mother-of-pearl! New heights of pissing contests Arguments in verse! Now, I want to see someone call me out as "not a TRUE FAN!!!" in Shakespearean iambic pentameter.
I'll do you one better The Texans need Brick Longhorns will be redder Than West Texas hicks Ex Horns will cry foul "How could you skip Vince?" They can not see how They bypass their prince Texans standing firm We're trading the pick Kubes, he will not squirm This man's skin is thick D'Brick is now in. Sonnet ftw!
Sonnets are by definition in iambic pentameter--10 syllables per line (pentameter), accent on the second syllable of each pair (iamb). You got the rhyme scheme that Shakespeare used (Elizabethan sonnet), though--abab cdcd efef gg. I'll hand that to you. There's also the italian sonnet style, abbaabba cdecde, abbaabba cdcdcd, or abbaabba cdcdee.
Then there's the flintstonian sonnet style, yabba dabba doo BTW, yeah, I fudged it, I was just trying to get it in in the most basic sense of a Sonnet (elizabethan) ...abab cdcd efef gg
Texans Savior? Rose Bowl is down to one play. Reggie Bush sits out. I know how to stay within the 5-7-5 rule.
