I have to reiterate: Antoine Walker is one of the crappiest and most overrated players in NBA history. The guy's stats are so misleading, because when you watch him play, you realize just how crappy he really is and how much he hurts any team he's on.

Wade is the toughest player in the league (next to AI, of course), but man his career won't last long if he doesn't develop a reliable outside shot, he's killing himself with all those drive-ins.

Walker is killing the Heat. Absolutely killing them.

co-signed. He's had enough space to take jumpers..space that would be enough for Kobe or Lebron or even Arenas to shoot. I would think he'd pull up for a jumper but nope, a pump fake, a drive, or a pass instead.

    Standard procedure.

Yeah, I know he likes to take it in most of the time, which is good and all, but there's a limit to how often you can do that, or you risk career-threatening injuries.

Unlike Tony Parker (who also drives inside most of the time and has no outside shot), Wade goes through the defense and gets hammered, while Parker is so quick and tiny that he goes around bigger, slower players -- which is pretty much everyone else in the league, he's too damn quick/tricky with the ball.

Dirk disappeared on the offensive end.

The second best center outplayed the pseudo best center down the stretch and that is one of the keys why Dallas wins tonight.

I'm sure others have said this, but I'll be sick if Dallas wins. I cannot stand them.

Here's hoping Miami sweeps the next four games. That'd be a nice twist of the knife.

Antoine Walker: 30% shooting + 6 turnovers + countless horrible decisions

Also no way miami wins shooting 35% from the free throw line, come on, thats just ridiculous.

oh i agreed with you. The thing is, Wade's shooting ain't HORRIBLE. It's not as crisp as Kobe's or Redd's or what not. It's not bad nor is it stellar. He should have tried to get into rhythm with his perimeter game and let that dictate his penetration. This is why it was frustrating--he hesitated to pull for a jumper every single time.

I rather have him shooting than Walker or Payton.

This is the reason why the Heat will lose this series right there. Walker is absolutely horrible on defense and his shot is very suspect, but he shoots it like its money.

I still can't believe some of you were picking Miami to win this thing. They basically controlled the entire first half and still lost. They simply don't have enough firepower to hang with the Mavs.

after the last heat comeback dallas collapsed on wade or the guys on the outside and wasted too much time for the heat before they could get it to shaq.

Pat Riley's motto since he coached the knicks, "hey, they can't call every foul". god I hate watching his teams.

i want Miami to win. i never thought they would actually pull it off though. then again, this win doesn't mean much. Dallas is supposed to win on their home court.

From what I'd heard on the TV broadcast, they're 34-7 at home in this past regular season. Pretty sick.

And one of those home wins came in a game where Luther went off for something like 26 or 28 points. Too bad he didn't have more help.
