They shot 37% at home in a surviving game, still got the nerve to blame refs. They are losers for sure, what's even worse, they are bunch of sore losers.

I actually don't think Tina Thompson would dissapear as much as Dirk just did in that 4th quarter.

Man, what a great ending to a great postseason! Couldn't have written a better script myself. First, the Lakers choke away a 3-1 lead and Kobe is destroyed by the media after his 'no-show' in the 2nd half of Game 7; then the Mavs dethrone the Spurs and end their title run; then Dallas gets oh-so-close only to have their hearts ripped out and get demolished by the Black Panther, Tru Warrior, Diesel, and crew...WHAT AN END! :D :D

As for francis 4 prez and others, I know you're mourning right now, I know it hurts, I know it stings, and therefore I dedicate Chamillionaire's "Hate in your Eyez":

Jealousy In Ya Eyes (That’s What It Is Boy)
Envy In Ya Eyes (That’s What It Is Boy)
The Label That’s On The Rise
Tell Em The Name, Chamillitary Mayne

You Can Love Me Or Hate Me
But Im Still Gonna Get My Money
Envy And Jealousy Is All I See
(Yeah) I Can See The Hate In Ya Eyes
You Can Try But You Cant Stop Me
I Keep It Real I Keep It Street
So Tell Everybody That Don’t Like Me
That I Can See The Hate In Ya Eyes

If You The Best, Beef Is Sumthin You Should Expect
Cause The Rest Be Feelin That To Be As Good As The Best
Its Obvious Im The Best So I’m Lookin For Less
Of The Friends That Just Pretend I’m Only Lookin For Checks
Say Hello To The Villain, I Would Say Its Nice To Meet You
But Its Not, So I Don’t Pretend It Is When I Greet You
The Same Villain That Run With You Try To Beat You
So I Chase Money Like The Payment That’s On Ya Lease Due
Gimmie That (That) Gimmie Gimmie That (That)
Yeah That Is Why The Wallet Fatter Than A City Rat
Feelin That, Till Its Really Really Fat
You Hungry And Trying To Eat Like ??? Give Ya Snacks
We Aint Havin That, You Feelin Me? Yeah
They Don’t Want Drama They Aint Prepared
    And I’m Feelin They Scared
Go Tell Em I Said Ima Make A Killin This Year
Headed All The Way To The Top Like There Aint A Ceiling In Here

Can we now dispense with the "Rockets got to match up with the Mavericks" crap?

We build around Yao and Tmac....and away we go....same as the heat, same as the Spurs...etc..etc..etc...

Cuban can pass out the 1,000 free tickets to Game 7 at the City of Dallas Victory Parade.

Can't go that far... It probably came down to Miami's ability to intimidate them physically, basically, the somewhat tough Mavs of Avery Johnson became the soft Mavs of Don Nelson.

Which is EXACTLY why I wasn't pulling for Dallas (in addition to the other obvious reasons).

I posted before the series started that if a Dallas-style team gave a Miami-style team (which is a carbon copy of the Rockets... with less discipline, but more talent) trouble... it would set the Rockets development back by another 3-5 years.

Now, its still right there for them... a good draft pick, a key FA, and T-mac's health (which is the most important), and they're going to be close.

I have 2 say that these two teams have the least deserving fan bases. Dallas especially, 95% of those mushrooms didn't sprout untill 2000 and when asked couldn't tell you the Derick Haper is. Hell, I bet some don't know they had Jason Kidd at one point.

At least Miami had some nice memories.... all ending with the number 23.

Good 2 be a Rocket fan tonight. :D

That's what I want to know. I also want to know what Shaq got for fathers day. His wife said it was something he could celebrate with if they win the championship.

Payton mentioned it in the post-game...apparently Riley put all his rings, and other possessions from his family in the bowl, and said he'd give it all up for the Heat to win just one.

Probably that he'd like to have Dwayne Wade on his team too.

I hope Yao, T-Mac, Les Alexander, and JVG are watching...this is how you get it done, boys.

I liked seeing Cuban lose, as I've always thought he has a certain amount of "jerk" in himself, but fair is fair, and the truth is the truth.

The call towards the end where Wade dribbles towards Dirk, throws a forearm into him, and is rewarded with 2 free throws for it is a friggin' joke. I just try to imagine how I would feel if we lost the final game of a championship series with a call like that playing a HUGE factor.

This was almost a war of attrition on who would choke the least at the end. Dirk and Terry leaving their jumpers at home, but Wade choked 2 free throws at the end that would have all but clinched it.

I started out wanting Dallas to lose, but didn't really want to see employee #8, Payton, and to a lesser extent Mourning win a title either, so it's not like I get a deep satisfaction with either side winning, but the one thing i think more than anything after this series is that NBA refereeing is a joke.

Definitely. The Mavs were getting the ball to the hoop at will in the 1st quarter, Riley adjusted by bringing in Zo, and Dallas didn't respond.
