Wade won the game but just as equally the Mavs and their inability to play lockdown D when it counted and Josh Howard's idiocy lost this game. I'm pissed! The Mavs when I don't want them too and lose when I want them too..
Howard, speechless, as dumb as Chris Webber. BTW, did Wade commit a backcourt violation in the last play? He is a great player, but that does not change the fact that about 1/2 of the calls he draw are phantom calls that either Kobe or Mac do not have the luxury to demand.

He's going to say that players should not be allowed to call timeouts... only the owners on the bench, who are wearing jerseys, and acting as if they're on the active roster will be allowed to call timeouts. Also, what the hell was Bennet Salvadore trying to do? Compensate for Howard's bone-head mistake? The guy called timeout... we all know he didn't mean to do it (he probably thought they had 2), but he did it... you have to honor it, even if you know the player was doing it under false pretense.
while the mavs played like absolute b****es at the end there (howard 2 ft's, and the ****ing unbelievable timeout), that was an abortion of a call on wade's shot. he had nowhere to ****ing go and forced himself into 3 people and, after already giving him an nba finals record 24 ft's, give him 2 more to take the game away. absolutely pathetic. throwing yourself into people is not supposed to get it done at the end of an nba game (although i'm sure Nick will be here to tell me it was a great call and wade deserved every free throw he got and miami should've actually won the free throw battle by 50). dirk finally shows up and the refs screw them them on that call. but howard, omg what a dumbass. he looks stupid and i guess is stupid. calling a timeout while a guy is taking free throws? have you ever done that before howard? no. so why would you start now? moron.

Mavs fans will point to a lot of things in this loss, but how about Josh Howard missing two consecutive free throws in the last minute there (I believe it was under a minute)? That's what it always comes down to. Going along with the Payton thread, for the first time in my life I can actually stand the guy. Dwyane Wade and Kobe are among themselves as the best in the league ... sadly, everyone will probably still be hyping up Lebron next year. Lebron is probably not even top five.

so damn, even shaq admits the refs were horrible. and yes, wade's last catch was obviously a backcourt violation. he jumped from the front and caught it in the back. but why should that influence the refs (maybe the interpretation is different, but i'm guessing not).
I can't believe poeple are complaining mav's loss on bad officiating, just as I can't believe people were thinking this was a catwalk for the Mavs.
