damn, josh smith's arm was well above the rim on that dunk. long ass arms.

it's amazing how much more athletic guys are today than back in the old days of the ABA. chris andersen jumped maybe a foot inside of where Dr J did on that dunk (his 9th attempt at it) and it didn't even seem surprising. guys can just fly now.

funny to hear kenny say andersen tries stuff he can't do and then he goes out and has to toss it 9 times to get it right. still, he jumped from pretty damn far out, which you couldn't tell on their original camera angle. i hate seeing stuff from underneath the basket. it gives you no feel for what just happened. it looked much better from the traditional side view than the way they originally showed it.

    I HATE NEW CAMERA ANGLES!

they always go to the under the basket cam on fastbreaks nowadays and it ruins it.

ok, chris andersen should never toss a basketball in a dunk contest again.

where did josh smith come from? i don't remember hearing much about him around the draft and yet he's been real good this season. an absolute dunkfest against sactown one game, 10 blocks in another game, this dunk contest. amazing athleticism.

Is Chris Anderson the most embarrassing slam dunk contestant ever? Atleast Ralph Sampson made a dunk or two. D-a-a-a-a-mn.

I'm surprised they still use them. It seemed like everyone thought they were dumb and useless when they first started.
