Thanks once again DoD, you're making this offseason a whole lot more tolerable.

Seems like Baxter is really putting on a good showing. Summer league is obviously a whole other game, but seems like he's the best player out there.

*Ouch, look at Ebi's statline, Yikes!! 0-4 FGs 6 Fouls 4 TOs in 18 minutes?

I didn't really focus on Baxter much to be honest, but from what I saw he wasn't anything special on the boards and his defense was average at best. One thing I noticed about him was that he was winded in the 4th quarter after being the man that quarter. Keep in mind the quarters are only 10 minutes long in this summer league.

Yeah, it's just summer league, so I doubt we're seeing the "real" Baxter.

That stat line doesn't begin to show how bad he was out there.

No EG. And they were kind of stacked, but Tskitishvili and McCants didn't play. Without those 2, they really aren't stacked. :)

He must have been defending Baxter.

Baxter looked good in clips 13 and 14....he seems really smooth.

Is he overweight or just a large man?

Yeah thanks DoD for going through the trouble of reporting this. I need my fix!

Also... Ebi played in my HS's district (TAPPS 4A). He was a monster against our team and our entire district. But watching him play against sub par competition makes me wonder how he even got drafted in the first place. Man I wish I was tall.

I dont know....the way he moves kind of reminds me of Dekes movements. Badman seems a little more clumsy but still he looks like he moves like Deke. Only if he could give us Dekes production of this year anytime soon it would be awesome.

I am loving every bit of those movies and recap. Thx DoD. Also have you guys notice something about Luther Head. After he penetrates in the lane, he jumps and looks to pass the ball alot. You can't do that in NBA. You need to be on your feet all the time when you are passing. I saw him do that 2-3 times in the clips.

    DoD- Great work, man.

What type of players has Head been matching up against? It seems he's playing a lot of 2, is he guarding many 6-7 types? Clips 5 and 6 showed exactly the type of catch and shoot ability we need from Head on the perimeter. If he can knock down that shot and play defense, he'll be in the rotation. He's got at least 8 steals in 3 games (Milwaukee game only mentions he had 3 steals in the first half, could've gotten another?), which is a very solid number.

Baxter looks a lot more nimble than I remember him...I also don't remember him being able to put it on the ground like he showed in a couple of those clips. If we can unload Baker and/or Spoon, he'd probably make a pretty nice 5th big man behind Yao, Howard, and hopefully Deke and Swift.

Glover's an NBA caliber player. He's thick and athletic, and a pretty solid rebounder for his size. He's seemed to struggle from the outside, but I think he has a nice in between game.

DoD, thanks a lot! Should I have ever said anything disrespectful, I hereby take it back...you are the savior of the Rockets fan's summer :).

Don't know about Baxter...from these clips, he looked a bit selfish in some situations. I would rather see him get 10 points and 15 rebounds instead of 31 points and 3 rebounds...we need rebounding from the backup PF position, not scoring...

If I remember correctly, the Rockets have always played players that they want to evaluate for the entire 4 quarters in one game and sat them on the bench for the next.

I wouldn't worry too much about what it means about their opinions of Badaine.
