I guess he did, but he was really the only offensive "go to" guy we had and these summer league games are pretty sloppy when you have a bunch of guys that have never played together trying to play as a team. I noticed Thibodeaux talking to him a lot on the court.

3 years ago, I stumbled into this site looking for any info about Yao. The first thing I saw was DoD's summer league game recap. I got hooked immediately and have been addicted to this site ever since. Thanks for the ride.

Anybody have any ideas why chuck hayes only got a minute of PT? Alot of people were pimping him after the draft and had some hope in him...

But judging from his entire collegiate career, Head is a very good shooter and offensive player. it was just one off game. He really does have some serious O to go with that D.

Yes! Dr of Dunk provides the prescription for the summer time BB blues! Outstanding job. Keep it up and we await the visuals with baited breath.

Thanks again, DoD. Subjective analysis like this is very useful, as box scores never tell the whole story.

Check out the rebounding domination, folks (42 to 26 in favor of the Rockets). Badiane may not have impressed, but 6 rebs in 19 mins isn't too shabby.

it seems like both glover and baxter will make the rockets roster, esp with roster sizes up to 14-16 players instead of the previous 12.

glover - athletic swingman, can guard the 2/3. i believe he started for atlanta for awhile at the 2.

baxter - from his NCAA days, he's a banger inside, grabs lots of boards. basically he provides some much need depth at the 4.

i really like these pickups for our summer league roster. question tho, why is head not playing the 1? why are we wasting our time by having crispin and hollis price play the 1? head needs as much pt at the 1 as possible. CD mentioned that head played the 1 in high school, so i'd love to see head get more exposure running the point.

Well, one thing is constant : I cannot take good pics... lol. I managed to salvage about 7 or 8 decent pics out of about 30 that I took. The rest were all screwy looking. And out of the 7 or 8 pics, only about 2 are good. Ugh.

    8 JPG's
    21 MOV's (not really compressed)
    Total filesize : ~71 MB

Thanks for the recap DD. Head probably just had some rookie jitters and will improve on his shooting as this league continues.
